There's a lot of "he's only a DH" focus, which is only true because that was the agreement to allow him to remain on the mound. If Ohtani can pitch and hit at this level, no way I'm betting against him being athletic enough to at least be a passable (if not actually quite good) outfielder.

With Senga creeping up the leaderboard in ERA and Strikeouts he looks like he has placed himself firmly in the discussion of ROY, if not the leader, especially if he continues performing the same way in his remaining starts.

He's pitched himself into consideration, yeah. With a huge finish and a big tank job from Corbin Carroll, I guess it's possible, especially with some recency bias working in his favor, but Carroll's season on the whole has just been so good.
