Hey guys, always great content. Im lil concern about my tigers (Lsu) not figuring out a Sunday starter would this hurt us in a regional or supers also

Guest -- if LSU is still trying to figure out who its Sunday starter is going to be in a regional, I'd agree with you there. But I have a feeling the Tigers will figure that out by then.

Can we show a little Commodore love? They just swept the #5 team and have an RPI of 3, but still not listed as hosting a regional. The pitching and defense are their staple, but against Georgia out-homered them 6-5. If the bats stay steady, what is their ceiling?

I have a feeling the Commodores will be in our Top 16 host sites this week. The league record looks much better and the RPI is obviously in a fantastic spot. Really impressed in particular with what the pitching staff did over the weekend against that offensive lineup. JD Thompson was phenomenal and Connor Fennell just continues to impress. Nothing looks easy out of Fennell's hand from a stuff standpoint.

Hey guys just want to ask is it possible, for the big 12 to have three hosts this year?Arizona, TCU and West Virginia has RPI's in hosting positions, and which team or teams can make a push and turn the big 12 to a seven or eight bid conference?
Kendall Rogers

It's definitely possible, but I'm not going to Vegas to put money on it. I'll stick with two.

Big time offense, suspect pitching for both teams. Should be a boat race in Eugene this weekend. Over or under 45 total runs for the weekend?

45 total runs for the weekend? I'll take the over, I think.

What's UCLA's status to be a regional host now? Their RPI is probably going to fall a lot because of weak opponents down the stretch, will that tank their hopes even if they win the B1G? Will they also have to win the B1G tournament or will that maybe not be enough either? Would be tough if one losing weekend all season on the road to a ranked team is all it took, but it does seem tough for the metrics to hold up in a bad conference/west coast.

I'll need to see what Mark and Aaron think as well late tonight in our NerdCast, but the Bruins still check several boxes. Great league record, strong RPI (17) and 5-4 record vs. Q1 teams. Those are solid marks on top of non-conference SOS of 34. I would still have the Bruins as a host in my book today.

If DVH never wins a national title do you think he will be the best coach to never get a title?
Kendall Rogers

There's a man named Mike Martin that was pretty good. He would be second on that list.
Eags TTT!

I think both coaches made their teams watch the old Glavine/Maddux chicks dig the long ball commercial on repeat in Hattiesburg this weekend. Outside a bad loss Friday feel like USM has caught a second wind. How do ya’ll feel about their chances in Montgomery for the 3-peat and maybe getting through a regional?

Eags -- Depends on how all the collective pieces come together. I do feel like the pitching -- at times -- has scuffled at the backend of the weekend. It's hard  win a regional against a really good host, etc, if your pitching isn't reliable at the backend of the weekend. Fix that and I do think the Golden Eagles can make some serious noise.
