Cajun -- This team isn't near as offensive as some of those teams back then, but they're getting better and they've got a superstar to lean on in shortstop Kyle DeBarge. I do really like the profile of this pitching staff more. Morgan/Herrmann/Langevin/Holzhammer, etc, are all high end arms ... and they've got a few more talented arms beyond those guys as well.

Bearcat -- Jordan Bischel is really good. I'm not saying CMU cannot rebound, but look at the difference with the Chippewas since Jordan's departure, and look at how improved the Bearcats are right now. It's a major improvement. Long way to go -- but so far so good for Cincy.

With an RPI of 88 (that's hard to accomplish as an ACC team!), the Jackets have a long way to go ... the good news? They still have Clemson, Florida State, Duke, Miami, Virginia and Virginia Tech on the schedule. That could be a really good -- or bad -- thing depending on how you want to look at it.

Was pat casey the greatest baseball coach of all time? No one else has won anything above the 51st parallel. Arkansas has never landed a title but he did it 3 times in Corvallis Oregon ? I think goes down as the greatest ever.

I've said this for a very long time -- but Pat Casey (OSU) and Wayne Graham (Rice) did two of the more incredible jobs you'll ever see in college sports history at their respective places. Casey is a rock star -- and the same goes for the OG, Coach Graham. Look at Rice since his departure.
