Can the Big Ten possibly get 3 Regional Hosts? I think it's very possible. UCLA, USC and Oregon might host Regionals

Eric -- I think three hosts out of the Big Ten is very much a strong possibility right now. A long way to go until those selections are made, but the league is certainly trending that direction right now.

Whats your take on Baylor? seem light on pitching and not much hitting especially with RISP...are they 500 team or little better? where do they stack up in B12... top 8 or lower 10-12 ish?

BEAR -- I liked Baylor's club when I saw it in Round Rock and Houston, but I didn't love it. I didn't feel like the offensive lineup had many pieces that you were afraid of outside of Snow, Armstrong, Sanders and Janusek. And of those, I think Armstrong and Snow can really be pitched to. As for the pitching staff, I think it's fine, not great, but I also trust that Sean Snedeker will get this staff to get better and better as the season progresses. He's really good.

Why did you curse K State, you post the glowing article they they get boat raced.  Seriously, do you really think their pitching can hold up?  They can't out score everyone.

Pablo -- they kind of remind me of the A&M of the Big 12 right now. A really, really good offensive team who does seem a little pitching challenged at times. That definitely needs to improve. I was a huge fan of RHP Tanner Duke on Saturday, though. He was up to 91-92 mph with his fastball and had a really good downer curveball. I liked his general upside a lot.

Thoughts on Texas Tech after their 3-2 week and winning their opening big 12 series?
Kendall Rogers

Jack -- I'm still skeptical the Red Raiders have enough on the mound to stack up Big 12 series after Big 12 series, but the offense was absolutely fantastic during that homestand, and Caden Ferraro continues to absolutely rake. I'm very intrigued to see what the Red Raiders do on the road at Arizona later this week. That'll tell me a lot because the Wildcats still have a very strong front-end of the weekend rotation.

Minnesota had a pretty tough weekend in their first Big Ten series. I've liked how they look but their bats were missing this weekend. How will they be able to withstand a really tough Big Ten slate?

I've got my money on the trio of Easton Richter, Charlie Sutherland and Weber Neels not going 6-for-37 for many conference weekends. Let's see how the Golden Gophers bounce back. Not too concerned .... yet .... until these things become a recurring trend.
