Not a fan of that. The RPI already factors in some of the disadvantages that some teams have -- such as more road games, etc.... that's all baked into the formula.

What kept Georgia Tech out of the top 25 this week? They had a rough stretch a few weeks ago, but have seemed to bounce back. They take a big series win against Louisville (who only dropped one spot in the rankings) and I thought Tech may have jumped Louisville in the polls. If GT takes this coming series at Duke, does that get them back in the rankings and in consideration for a regional host?

Corey -- excellent question. Georgia Tech was in the mix to be ranked, but I feel like every time we start believing in GT, it responds by throwing up on itself. Win that series this weekend and GT will be ranked next week (and potentially. hosting). I was very encouraged by GT's pitching over the weekend, particularly Paden and Patel in the final game of the series.

I think I like Southern Miss in this one. I feel like Troy has been playing with fire for a while now on the weekend -- that Arkansas State series couldn't gone either way.

Looking pretty unlikely. 10-17 in the league. Even with a sweep over Clemson at home this weekend, the Panthers would still need to do some serious work in Durham IMO.
