Conforto/Lagares/Granderson is their best OF and with cuddyer thankfully gone in a stroke of good luck, their chances of achieving that are good too

As I said before, the Tigers have a one, *maybe* two year window remaining to not horribly suck.

The right strategy, given the composition of the roster *is* Mike Ilitch's "après moi le déluge" approach. They're pot committed - push all the damn chips behind the last playable hands you have.

What is a reasonable expectation for Hector Olivera? As an optimistic fan, I'd like to say I'm taking the over on his projection but I am aware of his age and that his performance to date hasn't been spectacular.

I'm not necessarily taking the over. He *is* an over-30 player who last had a season that translated well in 2011.
