I know this is kind of off topic, but I truly can't believe Larry Walker isn't in the hall of fame. He was one of the best defensive RF's I've ever seen. Did his move to Colorado actually hurt his HOF status? The guy was an amazing baseball player. Vlad Guerrero wasn't any better than Larry Walker.

The main thing holding the WBC back is that the MLB is far stronger than the World Baseball Softball Confederation, who technically runs the event. For the WBC to ever approach the World Cup, the WBSC would have to approach the strength of FIFA, right? And that may not be a good thing.
