If peak Mariano were somehow pitching today, do you think he would be considered the game's greatest reliever? Or would he be overshadowed by guys like Chapman who throw 100+ and rack up tons of strikeouts?

I dont' think it would be clear-cut that either one was better, Mo had some crazy years.
Remember, of course, one of the reasons he's special is that he maintained his status for so damn long.

As in you have an AWESOME pitching staff and a TERRIBLE offesne.
But even in that case, you may be able to do better
