I was just reading about the NHL's emergency back-up goalie (EBUG) rule, in which the home team has to provide a back-up goalie (usually someone who played in college) available to both teams. Every year a few more pitchers throw 97+ and every year the offense drops some more. Is there any solution that doesn't include increasing the distance between the mound and the plate?

RE: Drop Cronenworth for Torres. Torres is 2nd/SS in my league, I have Cronenworth (1st, 2nd, SS) at 2nd base currently. You don't like Torres at 2nd base?

Actually a brain fart - it compeltely slipped my mind that Cronenworth filled in a lot at SS in 2021, not 2020
