You don't want your prospects to be hackers, but you also don't want your minor league hitting prospects to have their top driver of performance in the minors being walk rate

Is the wRC number for PCL players already taking into account the explosion of offense in that league? Or are there lagging data points from previous seasons that would cause even that number to be inflated? I am trying to get context for Yordan Alvarez' 222 wRC+

I hate Ceiling/Floor because there's too much room for interpretation. Is ceiling a 10% chance? a 1% chance? A 0.1% chance?

But I think Reyes being *as* good as JDM now is fairly unlikely.

I don't think he'll get his MLB averages up where martinez has been.

True story - I didn't believe Lew Ford was a real person until well into his first professional season

At the time, the Red Sox had Darren Lewis and Damon Buford

They were splitting time fairly evenly in center and people had been calling them Lewford
