I think it was fine. Everyone talks about Hand/Cimber getting Mejia, but they get a LOT of Hand/Cimber for that price.

And remember, the most desperate contender was the one to already *get* Hand/Cimber.

I know I'm in the minority here.

A lot of my colleagues do not like the trade at all.

and yeah, Chapman fetched Torres, but there's a real ULTRA-ELITE premium when it comes to getting a closer.

(and I didn't really like that trade from the Cubs side anyway)

Now, it took me awhile after the 90s to stop saying "gay" and "retard" as insults, because that's what we called each other as kids, without the meaning of those. Like Michael Scott said, retard was something you called your friends when they were acting retarded, not actual disabled people.
