Wouldn't it make sense for a bad team to sign ARod for the rest of the season as a 700 HR promotion? Minimal financial commitment for a potential boost in revenue (tickets and memorabilia).

Thoughts on the 2017 Royals? I find it hard to believe next year the team is going to be 10-15 wins better and then the mass exodus of 2018 happens in the winter. If they are out of it come next July, then sell right? Or even entertain offers this winter for core guys?
