Is there ever going to be a point when $/WAR deflates? I can't imagine that in 2025 we're going to be talking about $15MM for 1 WAR, but it seems to be trending that way.

Depends on how revenues and the league's salary structure get negotiated. If the minimum salary goes way up, then teams will have less to spend on FAs.
But in general, as long as MLB is growing, the cost per win will probably rise as well.

Lawrie and Inciarte have some paralells, but Braves get Inciarte for more years. Swanson > Barreto. Blair > Nolan and Graveman, at least to most teams, probably.

Nope. The stock answer is going to be "we're trying to win now, and prospects are no sure thing", but they could have traded Inciarte for a pitcher almost as good, and then traded Swanson and Blair for other really good things that helped them. Even in win-now-screw-the-future mode, this is a disaster, because they gave up three of their best trade chips to not improve.

How does the Miller trade compare to the Dickey trade? I feel like the Dickey trade wasn't judged as harshly at the time but I'm not sure why not. Blue Jays were only getting one year from him + an extension.

The extension was part of the trade, so they were getting three years. And neither TDA or Syndergaard were prospects on Swanson's level, and there was no Inciarte in that deal.

For every Carlos Correa, there is a Matt Bush. Not saying that it was a good trade (it wasn't), but prospects do flame out. It very well could be that they traded a light hitting OF and two bench pieces for a high end #2/3.
