Good afternoon, let's begin
Mtsteel

Hi Ed and thank you for your time. I think the lack of calling a time out when the Raiders we're on the goal line really was a terrible mistake. Had it been called we would have had probably 30 more  seconds after Juju's big play. We would have had a great chance to score a TD. Your thoughts?
Ed Bouchette
2:00
I agree. Mike Tomlin explained it that he was more concerned about stopping the Raiders from scoring there than he was about getting the ball back.

How would you solve the Steelers' defensive woes?
Ed Bouchette
2:00
Better players. It really is that simple
2:02
Here is a list from FFToday:
Matt Bryant, Graham Gano, Ryan Succop, Adam Vinatieri and Nick Novak are listed as the top 5
Markieburgh

If Bozwell is the main focus of attention, we’re sunk! The Defense is terrible and has been worse in the last 3 games. Is it time for Butler DC should to be out of a job, today and every position coach soon to follow?
Ed Bouchette
2:05
Blowing up the coaching staff may be many a fan's simple solution but it won't necessarily make them any better. As I said, they need better players
Bob Pine
2:05
Ed, any discussion by about Canaday?  Some of those snaps were bad and he got hut recently.
Ed Bouchette
2:06
Unfortunately, no one asked Tomlin about the snapper/holder, but then he didn't mention bringing anyone in to compete with those 2 the way he did with the kicker.

Ed, what is your honest assessment of Sean Davis? Seems to have progressed minimally since a dreadful rookie season. I know we have moved him around a lot, but why is he not considered a bust? Safety seems like a draft need, yet again
Ed Bouchette
2:07
Sean is one reason they have not given up as many big plays this year as they did last year. However, he's not knocking on the Pro  Bowl door either. I thought he'd be a better ball hawk.

GOOD AFTERNOON ED, LETS ROLE PLAY FOR A MINUTE, IF YOU WERE IN CHARGE OF THE STEELERS ORGANIZATION, WHAT CHANGES WOULD YOU MAKE?
Ed Bouchette
2:07
I'd have no one typing in all caps.
No Name
2:08
I have a mule that can kick... Would that be legal?
Ed Bouchette
2:09
I suppose, since it's a mule, he'd have to kick ass-backwards, but then maybe that's how things have gone anyway.

Chances the Steelers beat the Patriots?
Ed Bouchette
2:09
If you asked me 3 weeks ago, I liked them. I don't sitting here today.
T. Lazarus Link, aka, The Bishop

Tomlin today said kickers will be brought in for tryouts. Why not other positions (backup RB, third WR) where players are not performing?
Ed Bouchette
2:10
It's easy to replace a kicker. He does not need to know the playbook
Tomlin must go
2:10
LJ seems to be playing more snaps than bostic, has he overtaken him or is this another of Tomlins " flow of the game"?
Ed Bouchette
2:10
Fort has deserved more snaps lately in the passing game.
Bob Pine
2:10
Did MT talk about the inability to stop tight ends?  It's becoming a huge issue and Gronk is next.
Ed Bouchette
2:10
That is not a new issue; it goes back years
Tat from Bilbo
2:10
Too many Steelers leading the Pro Bowl votes. really? do all of them deserve to go?
Ed Bouchette
2:11
They lead the Fan vote. Wait until the players and coaches votes come in. The Fan vote is a mere PR scheme

2:12
Ed, besides TJ Watt and Tuitt, do we have any players on the defensive side of the ball we can count on as contributors for the next 4 years? Edmunds has shown next to nothing, and seems like we need a full rebuild AGAIN on that side of the ball
Ed Bouchette
2:12
Ummmm. Give me a minute.
I'm still thinking
2:13
Next question
Father Time

In your opinion, please provide your analysis based upon you experience between noll and tomlin and what the difference here is?  Did noll struggle with clock management from what you can remember?
Ed Bouchette
2:13
This is a chat, not a homework assignment

Ed, As this season has progressed I have noticed that although Antonio Brown has had a very good season, JuJu has been the top receiver on the team.  I understand that a lot of his ability to get open is due to A.B. being doubled.  How is A.B. handling the fact that JuJu is now getting more and more looks?
Ed Bouchette
2:14
The sideline rants at least have been kept to a minimum
kevin in Punxsy

Hi Ed.  Since 2010, the Steelers have 3 playoff victories and no SB appearances, yet MT continues to coach the team into oblivion, without a worry in the world. What will it take?????
Ed Bouchette
2:15
I don't call winning the past 2 division titles, reaching the AFC championship in 2016 and leading the division with 3 games left coaching the team into "oblivion." However, they should be able to beat the Oakland Raiders of the world
Ifs and Buts
2:15
Ed,  Crazy and it sounds I think the Steelers will beat New England.  Due to catch a break.  I am delusional?
Ed Bouchette
2:15
It would have been delusional to think the Raiders could beat the Steelers. Well, maybe not.

Hello Ed. What are the financial ramifications if the Steelers release Boswell this week?
