None.
Zac
2:11
New england could lose 1 of the final two (buffalo playing good), with Pitt and Jax likely to win out it would leave pats the 3 seed
Ed Bouchette
2:11
Yes, it would. I don't see them losing at home this time of year.
Chuck
2:12
Any idea who we bring in to replace Conner? I know we have Toussiant but anyone else?
Ed Bouchette
2:12
As long as it's not Ben Tate.
Todd from Va.
2:12
Play calling too conservative in final minutes, do you agree?
Ed Bouchette
2:12
No

Bills have won 2 of the last 3 in Foxboro.  Do you see them pulling an upset this week?
Ed Bouchette
2:12
I don't see them doing it, but I don't rule it out.
Mark
2:13
Ed, do you think Watt may have hit the dreaded rookie wall, and if so, is it time for 92 to get more snaps?
Ed Bouchette
2:13
Getting more snaps for James Harrison would be getting one since he got none on Sunday. I thought if he was going to play more at all it might have been vs. Pats but that didn't happen. So, no
Sheff
2:14
In a vacuum, do you prefer when every game has meaning?  If we had won Sunday and defeated the Texans on Xmas we would have had two weeks off?
Ed Bouchette
2:15
That would have been fine by me. Houston may still have had meaning because if Jax wins in SF, then the Steelers would have to win 1 game to earn that seed. Moot point now.
Lambert Lunatic
2:15
Hi Ed, Matakevich played ST but had limited or no snaps on D.  Did he lose his job or did he just not fit in the Pats plan?
Ed Bouchette
2:15
Maybe they wanted Spence's speed in the lineup more, I'm not sure.
wetsprocket
2:15
any DeAngelo Williams sightings on the South Side this morning?
Ed Bouchette
2:16
Please. If there were, he'd probably show up hurt.
Aaron S.
2:16
Do you expect Juju to hear from the league after his celebration with Martavis after Bryant's score??
Ed Bouchette
2:16
They're allowed to celebrate now.
Mark
2:16
The jags are going to be a tough test
Ed Bouchette
2:17
Yes, maybe they can win in New England.
Kevin in Punxsy
2:17
NE was without 5-7 regular defensive players and without 2-4 offensive players, yet, in my opinion, Bill Bilichick outsmarted and outcoached MTomlin.  Do you agree with this?
Ed Bouchette
2:17
I think they were playing without 22 starters Sunday night. That may make up for the Steelers playing without Shazier, Haden, Gilbert and for most of the game, Antonio Brown.
ALB
2:18
If Haden is healthy enough to play will he automatically start over Sutton? He played pretty well Sunday.
Ed Bouchette
2:18
Sutton over a healthy Haden? Are you injured?
Scott in Dallas
2:19
If we judge success by SB wins what has Haley done for the Steelers? The previous 2 OC's both won 1 SB. Not impressed with his play calling...
Ed Bouchette
2:19
Offensive coordinators don't "win" Super Bowls.
Jim
2:20
Ed, how does a professional football team not call 2 plays in the situation the Steelers were in at the end of the game?
Ed Bouchette
2:20
Long explanation by Mike Tomlin today. I will deal with it in my story that will be posted later this PM
Andrew in ATL
2:20
Hi Ed, I keep hearing about Jake McGee on the practice squad. Any chance he gets called up to the 53 man team with Vance McDonald's injury?
Ed Bouchette
2:21
He is a practice squad all-star, just doesn't have the speed. McDonald would have to go  on IR and I don't see that.
jim
2:21
OC's don't win SB's but they can lose them, ask Seattle and Atlanta!! True?
Ed Bouchette
2:21
I blame the head coaches of both those teams for allowing it to happen.
dan
2:21
I think the ref should have 30 seconds to review a call.  If it takes longer than that, then it's not clear enough to overturn it.
Ed Bouchette
2:22
It's supposed to be a minute but the boss in NY is making the calls so he can take as much time as he wants, I suppose
dan
2:22
Ed, do you think Tomlin regrets running Connor 'till the wheels came off?  Maybe he should have given Bell more carries to make sure Connor was healthy for the playoffs.
Ed Bouchette
2:22
Smart guy, eh?
Mark
2:22
Wouldn't we play the Jags?
Ed Bouchette
2:23
If the Jags are No. 3 and win their first game, yes. If the Steelers finish 2

Amidst all the complaining, and I'm still salty myself, isn't the simplest explanation for this loss the fact that you have to play a perfect (or nearly perfect) game to beat the Pats, and they failed to do that?
