You don't have to play perfect. Holding onto the football when you're not hit would be a start. AB dropped one in the end zone too on the play in which he got hurt after dropping it.

Realize he’s a private person.. does Lambert not respond to invite like Hall of Honor, or simply decline? Do you know if he attended Dan’s funeral? .. Thanks
Ed Bouchette

Jack visited the funeral home for both Dan and Chuck Noll. I'm not sure how the Hall of Honor RSVP went.

Ed, as an internal optimist, can we take some sollace that we now have a very angry team?
Ed Bouchette
2:25
Not really. I think they're angry in Cleveland too.

Lost in all the emotion and hype after this heartbreaking loss is the fact that Jesse James played a heck of a game. Jesse , it's not your fault you got jobbed, continue the good work.

Here's what Mike Tomlin said he tells his players how to avoid the catch rule: "Catch the ball"

Do you believe Ben Roethlisberger's explanation / excuse for the fake spike throw to Rogers? Why do TV guys like Rodney Harrison and Matt Hasselbeck seem to have issues and go out of their way to criticize Ben - it comes off as petty, don't you think?
Ed Bouchette
2:27
I don't listen to those TV guys, so I don't know what they're saying. Ben was correct in what he said.

Do we have to worry about because #26 came out of the stadium without giving interviews and has no activity at all on twitter since last Saturday?
Ed Bouchette
2:27
I think he's angry. Maybe he's worried what he might have said

Hi Ed, what are the consequences of not doing what your coaches ordered you to do? What happens if Bigben ignores Haley and spikes the ball?
Ed Bouchette
2:28
His coaches would have been fine with that.

After the touchdown was called back who do you blame most for the disarray leading up to Roethlisberger throwing a slant pass into 11 on 1 coverage.
Ed Bouchette

A plan for that play would have been nice. They had the time during the review.

Did we resign Watson now that Connor is out until the playoffs?
Ed Bouchette
2:30
That would be the logical move, yes. Unless they can find Rashard Mendenhall somewhere.

Do you think the NFL will ever admit that the call should not have been over turned because there was no conclusive evidence to do so? How can they let someone in a booth make a judgment call on such a critical play?
Ed Bouchette

I don't think you will find anyone to admit it. The boss in NY called it. The only one who could say he was wrong would be Roger Goodell and I don't think that's going to happen.
Thank you for another great chat. I won't see  you next Tuesday because I will be flying home. Merry Christmas
