Ed, I ask every week, please give us the cliff's notes version of how the Steelers became Dan Rooney's family team as opposed to any of his brothers?

Dan was president and only his brother Art was really involved with the team through the years. He fired Art as personnel director in 1985. The others, all stakeholders in the team, kept approving Dan as team president and did so with his son Art later. Dan and Art were the logical ones when the NFL made the others choose between horse/dog racing/gambling and the Steelers. Some still own a piece of the team, though, like Art Jr., Dan's brother. Much more complicated but this is not a complicated forum for that

I'm not sure what you mean. Ben had a 93.4 passer rating last year. He has a 95.1 passer rating today.

Tomlin hasn't won a challenge since 2016.  Is there someone advising him?  If not, what are they waiting for?  If there is, why hasn't that person been replaced?

Mike says no one advises him. He told Steelers.com a few weeks ago that he does not want to hire someone just for replay challenges.

Special teams has to be one of the most penalized units in the league. Now punt coverage is slacking (not all 11 players were blocked in the back). When will the team address this and get a new ST Coach?

It can be, yes. And not just players. It goes with the job. At least we don't have to interview grieving families who just lost a loved one in a shooting, as our new reporters often must.

I thought they had a good chance vs. the Patriots but not without a run game. Saints will be tough, especially in that dome, but Dallas did hold them to 10 points, admittedly at Dallas.

Practice, where they do not tackle, can't tell. Only games will and he does not have enough on his resume to predict

It should be, maybe not first round. Or, they could sign a good vet in free agency to go with Conner and Samuels
