They pay him nothing. He could go to the practice squad but they've never had 3 QBs on their roster and a fourth on the practice squad

If you can't draft a nose tackle because won't play all the snaps, why did they pick a round 1 guy who will only be in  on situational football or sub packages?   Isn't that the same?

Most draft picks are projects of one kind or another. WR isn't one. Rookie QBs always one. Only real project I see is the OT and the 7th-round DT

It is what I heard, yes. Maybe they just could not find a trade partner. Ravens traded with Titans and certainly would not have done so with Steelers. Titans had to move only 3 spots, Steelers would have had to go at least 6 to get above Baltimore

Yes, because they have 90 man rosters right now and because after the top 3 (including the rookie), they need another 2 or 3 on the 53-man roster
