Any thoughts on Bud and TJ switching sides?
Ed Bouchette

I asked TJ that today and he said he loves it because it gives him a chance to go up against different people.

Considering our MLB depth, why would we not consider moving to a 4-3 with Bud and TJ outside and Vince & Bostic rotating in the middle?

And who are your four down linemen?

Can Vance Mcdonald catch 7-10 touchdowns for us this year?
Ed Bouchette

If he stays healthy and they throw the ball to him more, but that's a lot of TDs.

Any chance Big Red starts over Jon Bostic? In your opinion.

There's always a chance, I suppose, but I don't think that mack linebacker spot is suited for Tyler Matakevich the way it is for Bostic. I believe he is more suited for the buck, played also by Vince Williams.

Do you believe that Shazier was the most talented linebacker ever for the Steelers (which is saying a great deal)? I can’t think of a linebacker that was consistently making splash plays, and put himself to make plays no others could

Ryan Shazier was a wonderful talent but please let's not forget a few others: Jack Ham, Jack Lambert, Greg Lloyd, Joey Porter, Levon Kirkland, Chad Brown, Kevin Greene, Andy Russell. Shazier may have reached those heights but he did not play long enough.
Thank you for another great chat. See you next Tuesday.
