Good afternoon, let's begin
Goldstar

Do you think the Steelers will turn it around and be in the mix for the playoffs or is spiraling out of control?
Ed Bouchette
2:00
They are at a crossroads and could go either way. Mike Tomlin first must resolve the Antonio Brown issue, which should be a lot easier than solving his other big issue -- the Steelers defense

Get your popcorn ready!!!
Ed Bouchette
2:00
Ready for some more good drama unfolding, no?
Bob
2:00
Rosenhaus said he informed team of AB missing for personal mater, Tomlin seemed to have no idea… Who is telling the truth?
Ed Bouchette
2:01
Sounds like Rosenhaus covering up for someone.
Bob

What was with attendance at the game Sunday? Less than 64,000 fans with capacity at 68,500… Home opener AND perfect weather…
Ed Bouchette
2:02
I never understood paying for a ticket and not using it, at least allow someone to use it.
Wade

What an astonishing drama filled few days. These issues as big as they seem or is this a “winning solves everything” situation.
Ed Bouchette
2:02
Winning does solve many issues but I can tell you that many of those employed by the Steelers are troubled by it all
Bob
2:03
Yes, AB has 33 targets on the season, but how many of them have looked like QUALITY targets?? A lot of throws to AB either look forced, or like terrible decisions by Ben. Is Ben forcing the ball there to appease Brown?
Ed Bouchette
2:03
That is one fear, that the squeaky wheel gets the attention.
2:04
He threw a fit in Baltimore last season because he was open and Ben did not throw him the ball. Maybe he should get open more often this year.
Ike Steelheart
2:04
Trade AB, rescind the tag on LeVeon Bell and suddenly you have a big salary cap space and draft picks. Your thoughts?
Ed Bouchette
2:04
So you're kissing off 2018 already?
Chris
2:04
Never seen this much drama from a steelers tea
Ed Bouchette
2:05
You're probably not old enough, but check out 1977

Could the Steelers in theory rescind the tag on Bell making him a free agent, and then sign him to a long term deal this year
Ed Bouchette
2:05
no
DT

Good afternoon Ed. Shouldn't the Steelers have had more urgency on their last drive down by two scores? It was ridiculous how much time they wasted.
Ed Bouchette
2:06
Many of us thought that as well. It was like watching the Eagles in their previous Super Bowl in Jacksonville.
Clark from Virginia

How does IR affect the salary cap?  Do you have to replace a player with a player with an equal or lesser salary?
Ed Bouchette
2:06
No, but the IR player's salary counts, so an injury is a double-whammy -- the injured player counts and so does his replacement
Jack
2:07
How do you think they will handle the Bell situation if the season spirals out of control before he returns?
Ed Bouchette
2:07
Sit and wait for his next move, no matter how the season goes at that point.

A lot of people think Tomlin, with the last eight years of no playoff success, should be fired. Any chance the Rooneys finally get wise and fire either Tomlin or Butler if they don’t win this week in TB?
Ed Bouchette
2:07
Are you a new Steelers fan?

Hi Ed...is it possible..that we could be seeing an end to the Tomlin era..based on the locker room and defense?
Ed Bouchette
2:10
In 2000, Bill Cowher was coming off two losing seasons and during a minicamp practice that June, a full-fledged brawl took place among players in the locker room. I thought the team was unraveling and Cowher was on his way out. They turned it around with a winning season and he won a Super Bowl in 2005

Who gets the blame for not addressing ILB in the off-season? It clearly was a big hole in their team after the Shazier injury, and Bostic was a back up at best.
Ed Bouchette
2:11
I would say the entire organization
Kurt
2:11
Ed please tell me Joe Haden is playing this week.  What is the early prognosis so far this week?
Ed Bouchette
2:11
Mike Tomlin said today he should practice, so that's a good sign for him to play
Go Fish
2:12
Are you hearing any news on LB coming back before week 11?
Ed Bouchette
2:13
Only thing I know about Le'Veon Bell is what I see on TMZ, and that's a lot of night-clubbing and wave runners.
Go Fish
2:14
Who miscalculated on the Lev Bell situation?  Is it fire-able offense?
Ed Bouchette
2:15
In my opinion, they never should have tagged him in the first place and I said it before they tagged him. Could have used that money to shore up the defense AND sign a vet back AND draft a back higher than the 5th round

Ed, any idea what punters might be on the market right now for Pittsburgh to try out?
Ed Bouchette
2:16
Maybe they could talk Plum native Pat McAfee out of retirement
