It stings any time you leave Coors, but he'll improve on the road, too bc he won't have the Coors Hangover Effect dogging him. The net is a little loss, but not enough to DRASTICALLY move him down boards (let's say 4-5 spots at OF)

What happened to Brett Lawrie? That first monster first few months looked legit from a batted ball/minor league history standpoint, then he just... changed. What happened? Was there a way to predict that drop off based on those monster first few months?

the problem is we gave too much weight to that first sample as if it was indicative who he was going to be over a full season. that's why you hear "small sample size" SO often. it gets tiring I'm sure, but it's also real. we'll see it come to fruition again in '16 with some of these rookies.
