I honestly don't get a lot of questions about him. I think he's fine. Long term, I worry a bit about his mechanics, but I think more whiffs are coming, and the grounders are a good floor thing for him.

I used to have a weekly closer article, and I dispute I'm rarely right. I picked Cingrani in a terrible pen, sure, I should have checked lefties on the roster. Otherwise, I've liked Strickland, Zych, Dyson so far this year, and it's early going. Listen to the podcast and you know my formula, it's easy, and I think it works: Role first. Velocity and Strikeout rate second because those are the only things linked with closer change. Handedness last because managers pick lefty closers half as much as they should given the population of lefties.

Now, when it comes to starting pitchers, you may have a point. I play a lot of deep leagues and I need to find those diamonds in the rough. But picking the guy that will move from 20-30 into top ten is tough. So I just buy a bunch of shares there.
