Any chance Markakis gets traded? On one hand, lots of teams need an outfielder, but on the other Markakis kinda sucks and is owed more money than he's worth
Eno Sarris
12:14
Underlying stuff on Markakis (exit velo, launch angle) say he's better this year. I bet he has an okay streak that makes him tradable.

Skronk???

Eno! You've got Eovaldi ranked at 34 now .. way higher than everyone else. Is that a reach ranking, or something you feel really good about?
Eno Sarris
12:15
Feel good. He's a different pitcher! Injury is a concern, to some extent.

I noted that Wisler was low on your updated rankings, what is he doing that's leading to his success and why is unsustainable?
Eno Sarris
12:15
Just a good run of easy competition and one pretty good pitch.

Assuming pence is out for the year in addition to a bad bullpen especially closer and the back of the rotation the check
Eno Sarris
12:15
It's just a hamstring strain and they can trade for a reliever.

are you encouraged by what you've seen by Danny Duffy so far? If he keeps the walks down and the fastball usage up, can he sustain these results ROS?
Eno Sarris
12:17
I may have been too hard on Duffy. In the past, none of his pitches have graded above average in whiffs or grounders and suddenly he's got all of them humming. But! These numbers are messed up by relieving. I don't think he can keep throwing this hard.

So buy pineda based on your article? If yes, how aggressive of a FAAB bid ($100 budget)?
Eno Sarris
12:18
11 or so. A few more high fastballs and a tweak of the release point is what he needs.

Talk to me about Tropeano. I'm half terrified and half loving having him on my team. What should I expect going forward?
Eno Sarris
12:18
More of the same, but hopefully fewer walks. The homers will always be there, especially on the road.

Eno! Little concerned about the Mets offense at the moment. They have been sputtering for a while now. Do you envision the struggles with the bats to continue or do you see this as just a rough patch?
Eno Sarris
12:20
It's not a great offense and it's hurting right now with Duda and and Wright on the schneid and Conforto in the rough patch. I'm not actually sure that Granderson will be much better, he's 35, and Wright is going to be hurt for the rest of his career. But getting Duda back and Conforto right will make things better.

Who would you rather have in a dynasty league: Trea Turner or JP Crawford?
Eno Sarris
12:22
Both should be up for some portion of this year, but Turner more likely to help more significantly sooner. Unless you in OBP, though, Turner's feet is the biggest impact tool in the grab bag here.
I good grammar.

Early impressions of Matt Boyd? Seemed like he was following in Fulmer's footsteps and throwing hard! Specifically - drop Andriese, Junior Guerra, Shane Green, Jhoulys Chacin, or John Lamb for Boyd?
Eno Sarris
12:26
Drop Greene for him. Boyd kept his velocity decently, which had been a problem. Has three legit pitches and average velo for a lefty now.

Has Sean Manaea shown you anything over the past few starts that makes you trust him ROS?
Eno Sarris
12:26
Changed his pitching grip on the change.
12:27
12:28
The new one is more of a splitter/fosh and it has more depth to it, and he can command it better.
The slider still sorta sucky, and command comes and goes. I want a cutter for him. He admitted his slider is too slow.

I bought a slight Alfredo Simon bounce back

Hello fellow gemeni! My birthday is in two days, and what I would like for my birthday from you is some tasty fantasy guidance. Should I be worried about Jeffress? Worried enough to burn a roster spot on picking up Smith? Would probably have to dump Inciarte to do it.
Eno Sarris
12:29
I wouldn't be worried now, but closer to the deadline, I would be. Inciarte supposed to produce .270/4/15 numbers rest of season, and I don't see why he can't.

would you rather do battle with a whale-sized shark or a thousand shark-sized whales? (don't worry, you would have a trident to defend yourself and some flippers and a snorkel.)
Eno Sarris
12:29
The whales don't have those teeth man.

should I be selling my shares of Yordano? Is there enough to believe he might return to his second half numbers from last year?
Eno Sarris
12:30
I see nothing positive in his line.
I'm not your buddy, Guyer
12:30
Is Charlie Blackmon ever going to run again? He's on pace for only 12 SBs. With a 18/12 season, he's not in the top 20 at OF is he?
Eno Sarris
12:31
He told me he spent all offseason on his running form and health, but that injury is really tough on running. I think he'll get it going in the second half and get close to 20 steals at least.
