Traded some Ks for GBs and the top ten is really tight.

Theo Epstein says the next big predictive and measurable market advantage will be in understanding pitcher health and preventing injuries. Is every big league team working on this in their own proprietary way?
Eno Sarris
12:45
Yes I'm sure. Samples suck, though. I know the Dodgers like to pick up guys that haven't had surgery yet.

Ever been excited for a beer you got in a trade and then....really disliked it? Such a deflating feeling, but I try to remind myself that's part of the fun/process- important to find out what you DON'T like as much as what you love. (Modern Times Lomaland was the most recent for me)
Eno Sarris
12:46
Other Half, their regular IPA. Was devastated. Then I got their Oat seasonal IPA and felt better.

Is Shoemaker mixed leaguable now? Better than Eickhoff?
Eno Sarris
12:46
I'd rather have Eickhoff, but Shoe throwing 40% splitters is a different pitcher.
Nelson
12:47
Is it the weekend yet? I have traded treehouse and trillium IPAs burning holes in my fridge
Eno Sarris
12:47
Damn I only have one traded for beer in my fridge. Time to go to the store!

12:48
What is Jorge Soler's true talent? Will we ever find out?
Eno Sarris
12:48
I still think he can .270/.335/.500 in a peak year, with 20+ homers annually and a few too many strikeouts to keep the stomach acid away.

Dear Eno, I am a henterosexual adult male. Why do I so want to have Kris Bryant's baby?
Eno Sarris
12:48
It's the eyes.

Littlr help please...Chris Davis and Ellsbury for Lester and AGone?
Eno Sarris
12:49
Rather have Davis side.
William Ding
12:49
What would Eno do (WWED?)Is Tallion an impact player for a fantasy team this year or trade bait for a team that's dumping for next year?
Eno Sarris
12:49
Gotta hold if you're rebuilding.
Nelson
12:50
Utley or Lawrie better fill in till Dee gets back?
Eno Sarris
12:50
More power and speed from Lawrie, so unless batting average is your only need.
Tommy B
12:50
You briefly mentioned Eduardo Rodriguez in the podcast but can you elabortate on his 70s ranking? Volicity still not back yet a concern?
Eno Sarris
12:50
Velocity numbers become meaningful quickly and yeah he's low. Also, no swinging strikes.

I saw you dropped me to 54th SP ROS. Why the pessimism?
Eno Sarris
12:51
I think he's hurt. All the indicators for injury are blinking.
Carlos
12:51
i like the bold placement of raisel iglesias in your SP ranks. what are you seeing rest of season: IP, ERA, K/9?
Eno Sarris
12:51
90 innings, 3.5 ERA, nearly a strikeout per inning.
Shawn
12:52
Evan Gattis seems to be underrated to me. Just gained C eligibility in Yahoo. 30 HRs with a .250 is better than all but Posey, no? What am I missing?
Eno Sarris
12:52
Playing a lot now too.
Curtis
12:52
Which part of a live baseball game interests you the most?
Eno Sarris
12:52
The starting pitcher's approach in the fifth and sixth.
12:53
daviddal -- awesome! my fullname no spaces at gmail.
Rob
12:53
What type of changes will (from your expectations) happen with the Astros lineup before playoffs?
Ralph
12:53
Reasonable to expect Bergman up in the next month? Or just wasting my time?
Eno Sarris
12:55
Bregman is tearing it up, and is 22, so it's not like he's 19. Reed not tearing it up as much. I think we see both. Valbuena and White can be backups, helping at DH and platooning and backing up, or even traded.
Reggie
12:55
Does Fulmer throw the Warthen slider?
Eno Sarris
12:56
Brooks says 6+ mph slower than fastball, around 90... could be. That's a hard slider.
Mark
12:57
What are you ROS thoughts on Leonys Martin? Power legit?
Eno Sarris
12:58
He made the batted ball angle changes. Most fly balls of career. Some thought he had this power in him. I think he'll manage 18-20 homers this year! wow.
natsfan
12:59
Will Twins actually be smart and let Kepler play this time around? What do you forecast for his future?
Eno Sarris
1:00
Manager says he'll play, and with Sano looking like a DH in the outfield, something might have to give long term. Kepler's power held, not in a homer sense, but with doubles and triples. I could see .260/.330/.400 from him with good outfield defense and some steals.

Eno! Thoughts on 120 minute IPA, and whether Conley can develop into a consistent number 2?
