Buxton definitely has more upside if you're talking bench piece.

Four of the Braves' top 10 players in offensive WAR are pitchers. Two are position players who have been released. Two are scrap head veteran MI's. One is a stop-gap catcher. One is Freddie Freeman. My soul hurts.

You get a chance to listen to the new Avalanches track yet? Danny Brown x MF Doom is pretty glorious

What are your thoughts on Archie Bradley? Was this last start legit or will he be back in the minors by the end of the week?
Eno Sarris
1:47
Eh. I still don't see a change or a ton of whiffs from his curve.

Is this the real Brian Dozier now?
Eno Sarris
1:47
Talked to him, and he says he's working on letting the ball travel a little further so he's not so extreme on the pull thing. I see better times coming.

chen against pitt today?
Eno Sarris
1:48
Yes.
Jim
1:48
it's time to release Carl Crawford right? No way they send Thompson down when Van Slyke returns.
Eno Sarris
1:48

What to do with Justin Upton? Hold on to him or time to give up? Besides his increase in K% and decrease in BB%, his numbers aren't too far off from his career averages.
Eno Sarris
1:49
I still think he'll get his homers but put up the worst BA and OBP of his career.

Love me Mazara.

I'd totally be stoked too if my GF drunkenly made fun of somebody's inherent physical traits.
Eno Sarris
1:51
That's why I shouldn't have posted it. But fandom makes us silly. It was more "she rejected a Dodger, yesss"

If Clayton Kershaw is salmon, what seafood would Rich Hill be?
Eno Sarris
1:51
Wait so the best seafood of our time is Salmon? Hm. I'm a Tuna guy. Hill would then be a good tuna salad that goes bad quickly.

this will come across rude, and I don't mean it to be, but it seems Fangraphs analysts speak very matter of fact when giving their opinions. A lot of "they aren't good" or "he's an ace" and then we are left to make decisions only to have you guys say oops. Maybe don't be so sure of your answers because of numbers. You guys spoke of such names as Conley and Wacha as sure things. Just above you said you were wrong on Mazara. Guys lean on you and your side.

This is a chat thing. If you read my pieces, you'd get a different impression. Conley was always a flier, and he's turned out really good for that sort of thing. No scout pedigree, no national scouts that love him, not great numbers, and here he is doing okay! As for Wacha, he's hurt. I'd put money on that.
But in my pieces, you'll get the whole thing. Look at my Pineda thing today. I go through my whole process.
Here on the chat, it's 'buy, but as a back end guy.'

What role do you see Pete O'brien playing in the future? Starter or reserve who could fill-in at 1st, OF, DH and occasionally at C?
Eno Sarris
1:54
Platoon RH 1B/DH. Razor thin between making it and not.
Jonathan Villar

Just wanna give a shoutout to myself, and say that I'm awesome
Eno Sarris
1:56
You're right! You are! Reall nice step forward on swing rates, believable BB/K rates, enough power to hit five or six, and going to steal over 40 bases. Well done! (might hit .250 or so going forward, but w/e.)

Do you think Will Smith will be the Brewers closer in the future?
Eno Sarris
1:56
Maybe in September. Him and Smith are on the trade block, so might even be Knebel.
