Swing rates. His contact rate is up, and his walk rate, but why? He's swinging at more pitches in the zone and fewer outside the zone. I like that.

Any advice on getting through to league-mates on trades. I have affordable assets like D Murphy, Franco, Bregman, and AJ Reed waiting for a trade. Why won't someone give me a good starter? I'm trying to win this year!

This won't work for everyone, but try just including a link to someone writing on them. BP had Bregman really high on their midseason list. Someone must have written about Murphy's pull philosophy.

It's easier to upgrade a stars and scrubs lineup at the deadline right? Does that mean it's the best way to build a team, or does it take more resources to build a stars and scrubs lineup than a balanced lineup in the first place?

This is an interesting thing with regards to the Dodgers. I would say that building a team thinking you'll upgrade at the deadline is a costly way to do it. That's when upgrades cost the most! So I'd rather build with depth to overcome the coming injuries, and spend on smaller deals at the deadline. Dodgers can still go get a reliever.
