Why would Joe Girardi say he would play ARod as much as he wanted until Friday when he didn't have the intention to? Saying "I'm not responsible for farewell tours" is garbage considering when they were actually contenders he hit Jeter 2 pretty much every game.

Quite the quick turnaround. I think they've actually been a model for a big market team. At least this year, they accelerated the rebuild quickly with a few good decisions.

Jose Ramirez. Next year, he'll have 2B, 3B and OF eligibility - assuming he plays one more game at 2B. If he plays 5 more at SS he'll retain that. Good bench peice moving forward next season, or can I look at him to start somewhere?

He should start at third, which makes him a decent top-15 second baseman I would bet. Pretty good player.

What's up! I *think* the NL gets second chance at a guy on waivers in the AL so I doubt the Mets get him, plus they probably still think he's hurt. But yeah, I'd run him out there over de Aza.
