Yeah it's in my piece about cold pitching. People said they hated the dry of the desert, needed more moisture to get a grip on the ball.

It's not illegal to mush people together. I'm made of an old goat and some playdough myself.

Rank these Modern Times IPAs: Orderville (Mosaic), Protocosmos (Galaxy), Booming Rollers (Citra)
Eno Sarris
1:16
Proto is in my fridge for a first tasting today perhaps. But Booming Rollers rules my world so that's first.

u got 1 side saying dogs have paws & the other side saying dogs have hooves..then me, the guy who cuts thru the BS, saying they have Niether
Eno Sarris
1:16
reasonable approximation of a dril post, but I'd say he's usually a bit more profound. Maybe this will hit me tomorrow, sometimes that happens.

Teoscar looks pretty good! What kinda numbers do you see from him? 270/330/430 15 HRs 25 SB possible in a full year?
Eno Sarris
1:18
Maybe he made a real adjustment because he's seen 165 pitches and that 10.9% swinging strike rate does not suggest a 30% strikeout rate is coming. But I'll hedge bets a bit and call him a .260/.320/.430 guy... still pretty good.

Just so you know the first "Bork" you posted from isn't #realbork. I'm here now though!

Let's get it right.

You like Triggs as much as Sullivan does?

Changeup looks legit, and definitely comes with the funk.

Re: Yesterday's podcast aren't you concerned about increased walk rate
Eno Sarris
1:20
He doesn't have great natural command. I was more surprised by his low walk rates before.

How come fans are always so pessimistic about their teams? Isn't this something people follow for enjoyment? Its not their jobs on the line so why get very upset when a player under performs or the front office makes a bad trade?
Eno Sarris
1:21
The weirdest thing for me is when they get really mad at a front office, and then I swear they seem like they're rooting for the team to fail so that the GM can get fired. I've seen this with Dodgers and Mets fans. Why not just root for the team?

Do major league players like good beer? Or is it more of a Bud/Coors crowd?
Eno Sarris
1:22
Very few into good beer. Even Adam Lind, who I was told was into good beer, only had a pilsner name for me. Knebel is legit. Doolittle knows good beer.

Just missed you playing pickup yesterday - heard you were on fire
Eno Sarris
1:23
There you are! Can't wait to play with a listener/chatter, even if it means someone will call me out when I embellish. I called one of our dudes 6'10" and when he came back to play a few weeks later, he was like, I'm only 6'6" dude. But yeah, yesterday we played inside and I *love* shooting inside.

Why do some Giants fans hate Brandon Belt and some seem to think Adrian Gonzalez is better. Is that true? Also how can he adjust to getting so many outside pitches plus the borderline calls seemingly going against him.
Eno Sarris
1:24
The next few years will probably separate the two. Belt plays with push/pull and just needs to push a bit more to get rid of those outside pitches.
Eno! Helloooooo
1:24
Enoooo!!! How do you feel about Stillwater? They're all over the place, they're always making interesting beers and they're reasonably priced. I appreciate the effort.
Eno Sarris
1:25
I kinda put them in the Mikkeller/Dogfish Head grouping, except you're right about the price. I just am a little gunshy with those breweries sometimes because the bad ones are so bad.

Is Strailly for real now and for next year?
Eno Sarris
1:25
He's a major league starting pitcher. As for his current success... I'd like to see what an offseason of training at Driveline can do for that velo. Rather have a righty sitting at 91+.
Bork

The issue with telling fans that there is a new young guy who will be great, is that they start asking questions like WHY DONT WE TRADE THAT GUY FOR KERSHAW OR TROUT?

Does Trea Tuners low walk rate concern you? How do you feel about him next year?
Eno Sarris
1:27
He's fast, hits the ball on the ground, and actually has some power, so he should run a decent batting average on balls in play to make up for the low walk rate. I don't see a problem.

I hit the only over the fence HR in my company soft ball game.. Should I set up an open workout for teams??
