Had an owner in my 20 teamer trade Tanaka for Bird and Kluber for Renfroe in panic moves, to the same owner no less. How do you deal with that type of league altering stuff?

Engage that owner in trade talks immediately and plan for a replacement next offseason if possible somehow in league rules.

DeGrom's velo started off strong last night (97 and even 98 a couple times), but noticeably dropped off in the 5th and 6th (92-93). I know that velo doesn't necessarily hold throughout a start, but this drop seemed kind of significant. Is this normal for a pitcher in the early going, or is it something to monitor?

I had Cotton late sixties and Finnegan in the eighties, I'd say they're probably both in the 70s. Finn might have an adjustment in his rear view that Cotton needs to find. This is not a crazy switch to make.

I've seen some difference in vertical movement numbers. Kershaw was 12 last year and 14 in his first start. We just have to be careful right now.

No command right now. Don't know what to say. His usefulness as a reliever in the bigs might be in question, but he still has multiple pitches and velo. Maybe they send him down to stretch out again.
