Do you ever pick the wrong question and then realize afterwards that you have no answer for it?
NtFlxAndRichHill
1:45
You ever take your kiddos to concerts?
And what age did you start taking them?
Eno Sarris
1:46
Have taken them a few times with headphones on and they are 2 and 5 but might chill for a bit. They don't love it as much as me and my wife, so why not make it the time we have for each other, and take them when they like it more.

The NY Post (I know, I know) just called Tebow a serious prospect. Journalism truly is dead.
Eno Sarris
1:46
There are so many reasons why not, all it takes is one phone call.
Marcus Banks

Luis Severino is the best pitcher in NYC.
Eno Sarris
1:46
How fast things change.

Crawford's inside the park HR was not a walk off, and the catcher was non-prospect David Freitas.  Alex Jackson is at A+.
Eno Sarris
1:47
Ah good on all acounts. Well not really, a walk off inside the park grand slam is pretty amazing.

The clutch variable in the WPA statistic... how stable is that from year to year? Is there any reason we should consider using WPA to determine players' values over WAR?
Eno Sarris
1:47
Not very stable and no, although it does give relievers a slight boost.

I imagine Eno's home office during chats to look something similar to Mission Control in Houston. What ya got, like 20 monitors opened up with various web pages? A big headset? Maybe a sweet white vest like Ed Harris and his guys wore in Apollo 13?
Eno Sarris
1:49
Three monitors, a mic, a lot of mess, and a beer fridge.
so basically ed harris with kenny g's hair.

Whattya think of that Paul Sporer guy you work with? Pretty cool, right? Seems hot and awesome and cool and fun and neat
Eno Sarris
1:49
Paul, that you?

Can you PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do a piece on Stanton's new batting stance? It's awesome! His closed swing provides an insane amount of torque in the horizontal, pretty much opposite of Harper's vertical.
Eno Sarris
1:51
I think he's also got a two strike approach now.
Evan
1:51
Let's ban Velcro batting gloves. Players fiddle with them between each swing. Guarantee it'll speed up the game by AT LEAST 10 minutes.
Eno Sarris
1:51
I... I don't think we got a lot of Nomars out there.

The difference between the BeltreShow and the UmpShow is that I paid to watch the players.

Re: Johnny Cash - that was Andrew Miller's music with the Yankees!

What is the best move for the future of the Mariners?  Fire sale now, "go for it" demolition of remaining farm, or just hang out and wait?
Eno Sarris
1:52
Go for it because that core is old.

Do you go to the GAF in Denver?  I haven't been in ages but I am going to try for tickets this year.
Eno Sarris
1:52
I should be there this year!

Having just moved to Portland a year ago, your thought that they are no longer top 5 in breweries is a bummer, but I have to generally agree. The scene is very safe and suffers from a sameness, imo. Sure, you have Cascade or others that don't make the same 5 IPA and PA and falvorless porter/stout....but I am not as impressed as I'd hoped to be.
Eno Sarris
1:53
and there's beer everywhere, your coffee shop brews beer, but... is it just beer?

Why have you sworn off football. CTE concerns?
Eno Sarris
1:55
Time narrowing, didn't get as much out of it, actually find the pace annoying, tons of down time as they figure out what happened on the last play, then there's the head concerns, don't want my kids to love the sport and then play it. Down to NBA and MLB with some soccer in the big tourneys and that's about it for sports. MLB takes a lot of headspace!

Have you ever seen anyone pull off a fantasy trade for Trout
Eno Sarris
1:56
I traded Judge and rentals for Trout this year in a keeper.

Can't remember -  is there research out there that shows "visualizing" the outcome of a  mechanics or swing change might be better than coaching / working on a particular part of the whole? ( thinking about Cutch's comments from your piece)
Eno Sarris
1:56
Yeah I think it might be linked in my Yonder piece from March. there is some evidence that 'outcome cues' like 'hit the ball over the second baseman' are more effective than 'mechanical cues' like 'keep your hands low.'
1:57
Okay I gotta go! Thanks for hanging out!
