It may, by making it too similar to his sinker, but his curve was pretty good and if he can improve a harder breaking ball he might be okay.

i think of it as coachability. Think of Zack Greinke, Jake Odorizzi, guys that were drafted to be one thing and are now very different than they once were. Even the Shark is like that. He used to be 4s / splitter and all gas. Now he has a curve, a sinker, slider, cutter, doing his best.
