Yes. And he was so good for those Phillies teams, maybe really the best on a team full of stars.

What was going on with Charlie Morton's postgame interview?  I couldn't tell if he was about to cry, super hopped up on adrenaline, or just forgot how to speak.  It was odd.  Thoughts?  Side note - can we get more Bregman interviews.  Dude was hilarious after game 5.
Eno Sarris

He was about to cry. He was really emotional. It was touching.

Results aside, who managed better in the WS?
Eno Sarris
12:54
I don't think either guy made a decision that really vexed me like some of Maddon's did last year (and this year). Taking Hill out early in his first start made some of the bullpen issues come to light, but it was clearly the team's philosophy, and it's based on data.

As a recent Tempe transplant can you recommend any breweries to check out? Already crossed off Four Peaks.

Well you got the worst one done, so let's go up the list: Wren House, Arizona Wilderness, Pedal Haus, and Kings Beer & Wine for growlers.

what sort of value does Rosario have in dynasty?  I should use a keeper spot on him?
Eno Sarris
12:57
Nobody hurt his hype more than Rosario last year. No EV, all GB, no plate discipline. Looking more like Erick Aybar than Francisco Lindor. I'll keep him cheap in ottoneu because he could adjust and has talent, but if you're talking keep five or seven, no. Maybe in keep ten depending on depth of league.

I wasn't lashing out at you for the "Bellinger is a rookie comment".  I made it because putting that much pressure on a young kid this early in his career is crazy.
Eno Sarris
12:57
Yeah and I was agreeing!

I asked Jeff, and he didn't think so, but I'd be curious to get your take: do you think Morrow's earning power this off-season will be depressed by his throwing 212 days in a row in the postseason? Feels like a massive durability concern, on top of the durability concern that comes with being Brandon Morrow

A savvy agent could spin it as being willing to do anything for the team, but I wouldn't be lining up to sign him or Wade Davis really.

Admittedly as an inhabitant of the East Coast I had hardly seen Corey Seager play until this series, but he certainly showed signs of what scouts had feared about him, that he wouldn't stick at SS.  Is he just banged up (missed the NLCS) or is he going to soon be a liability with the corners otherwise occupied at the moment?

His back wasn't in good shape, you could see it on that flip at second error he had early in the series. I do think he's too big to finish his career at short, but not sure looking at current depth chart matters a ton.

I tried to be a hater of NEIPAs as long as possible... then I went to Other Half. GIMME ALL THE HAZE!!!!

There are bad ones, but when it's done right it's soft like pillows, still light and airy, and fruity and not that bitter. What sucks about that? (I hate the thick chewy ones)

As a Braves fan, now that WS is over, we get our Doomsday announcement.  From what you know, how does our crimes compare to Cards hacking scandal.  Would we get more or less of a punishment?
Eno Sarris
1:01
Less. The stuff they are accused of is *rampant*.

Grandal's game calling is atrocious? I'd never heard that before. Is that a vibe you got from people around the organization, or just your own take? Not saying it's wrong, btw, just curious
Eno Sarris

My own take, but when you have to have a crib sheet on your arm during games it's not a good sign.

Theres a difference between 'bust' and 'will go through a period of struggle', Judge and Bellinger both show us that a period of adjustment is eventually going to be necessary for Hoskins, but he'll probably still be good, because he's good.

He's not Mike Trout.

Who's the best pure athlete you've seen on a baseball field?
Eno Sarris
1:08
Mike Trout looks like a linebacker. Peak Jose Reyes (Lindor?) looked like an elite soccer player. Definition of an athlete is difficult.

If the Cubs let Arrieta and Davis go, it's going to cost money and either draft picks or players to replace them. I don't get why they just don't pay them and keep their depth. There are still holes to fill. Letting them go creates more holes.
Eno Sarris

Just a question of resources and how much they want to spend.
