Can you touch on Ramon Rosso for a minute? Stats look good on paper but he's a little old for the levels he's played. Cannot find ANYTHING in terms of analysis, just blurbs about individual outings.

yah, fringe heater, cutter curveball. He's a good sleeper. Stuff/results don't match so we may be underrating him. Probable depth arm for me.

First time, long time. After me, who are the u19 guys likely to be top 5 or top 10 caliber prospects? I’ll hang up and listen.
Eric A Longenhagen

you can search/filter The Board by age probbly have your answer. Good dynasty owners should try not to tip their hand in a chat read by lots of people and do the covert work themselves.

How much importance, if any, do teams place on having minor-league affiliates that are close to their MLB location?
Eric A Longenhagen
12:57
I think it's vital that you're double and triple-a clubs are a short plane or car ride away, because inevitably a freak injury will being about need for a quick call-up
12:59
It already happened this year, right? Didn't someone have to drive frlom Scranton to NY very fast already?

In Gavin sheets’ write up, it was mentioned to be skeptical of wake Forrest power gains. Why is that?

Thoughts on JP Crawford? Technically not a prospect but he's still young.

Is Kyle Nelson a prospect in the Indians system?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:01
sleeper pitchability lefty, yeah
Hello
1:02
What gives a pitcher natural cut?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:03
the way they grip/release the ball.
so like, I need to get someone with cut, but you can see Gore's release creates pur backspin on his fastball, so that thing isn't cutting.

Tyler Phillips threw 5 shutout, 1 hit innings in the Carolina League last night.  Is he just a pitchability guy who gets hammered once he gets to AA/AAA, or is he a legit prospect at this point?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:04
placed him srongly on the Rangers list, Im a fan of his

You're just a few miles down the road from Corvallis.  Any plans to check out Adley Rutschman this weekend?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:07
Nope, they come to AZ later

Saw Conor Grammes of Xavier pitch @ Texas this weekend - <3 IP, walked the bases loaded and walked at least 2 runs in, 7+ ERA on the year. Obviously great stuff with his fastball hitting up to 97, but overall looked very ugly - do you guys still see him as a good prospect given how he's started the year on the mound?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:09
I just think his stuff is so, so good. I'm still in even though he has bad control.

Y Kikuchi vs. R. Lopez in today's early afternoon action: which pseudo prospect will have the better year?

Hi Eric, thanks for the chat. I'm curious about the theoretical FV limit for a relief-only prospect. It's rare that they get to even a 50, but what qualities would be required to get to a 55 or even a 60? Is that possible?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:11
you could argue mapping FV to expected  WAR underrates relievers across our lists. Basically I'd have to know someone was going to become Aroldis Chapman or Edwin Diaz to drop a 60 on them, and most of the guys who become that kind of reliever are starters on our lists and covert later, like both Chapman and Diaz.

Paddack’s fastball looks awful straight. Think he gives up a lot of bombs?
Eric A Longenhagen
1:11
Nope, angle too tough

Okay everyone, I've gotta run. Thanks for stopping by this week. Hope you all have a hell of a weekend. Daily Prospect Notes return Monday, the Indians list will be up that day too, and we'll have a pod early next week. bye bye
