Either Weaver or Musgrove. I'll say Weaver.

Have you hear why Mike Dee, former CEO of the Padres was fired?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:25
Ownership was offended by Brass Monkey lyrics

Hey Eric! really enjoyed the Cubs prospect list, thanks for the good work as always. If you had to guess, who in the 11-20 range of the system will be in the top 5 next season? also, how much value does Canedlario lose as a potential trade piece, presuming a move from 3rd to 1st?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:26
Paredes would be my pick to rise. Advanced bat, will put up numbers.
Not sure about the 2nd question.

If you had told me two years ago that the Brewers would have one of the top farm systems in 2017, I would've assumed Gilbert Lara would be a huge reason why. What went wrong?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:28
He just...doesn't...hit. None of us ever see him hit. We don't know what's going on but when it flashes it's really impressive so everyone is being patient. Still just a teenager.

Have you stopped doing podcast?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:29
No, we had some audio loss issues lately. Screw you, computers!

Gavin Lux & Delvin Perez are both obviously a long way off, but what comps come to mind when you think of what they could turn into (and are likely to turn into)?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:30
Lux is like 55 D at SS, maybe some bat to ball and SB skills. Zero power. Delvin is potential 7 at SS, has the bat speed for 6 hit and, if there are proper adjustments made to his swing, like average or better power. His swing would need an overhaul and you're risking an already solid contact profile if you do it, so I'm not advocating for it. But it's in there.

Thoughts on Braden Webb? I see he missed the Brewers list? No upside?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:32
Oh, I like Webb and he should probably be in the HM section. Relief for me, went underslot in rd 3.

Do you watch hockey?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:32
Not anymore.
I used to pretty regularly when I lived in PA. Keith Primeau, etc. Coyotes don't do it for me.

Outside of Otani, who are the 2 top international guys un-signed?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:33
Robert and, from what I'm hearing, Julio Rodriguez.
Neel
2:33
which team has the worst number 1 prospect?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:33
ARI and LAA both have 50 FVs up top.

I like Forsythe a lot, but I still felt that 6 years of Jose De Leon was a pretty big overpay. Should I take that as a sign from internal evaluators and lower my expectations for JDL, or keep my evaluation the same and assume the Dodgers had to sacrifice a lot in the future to improve a little now?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:35
I think it's more of the latter. Forsythe's value is greater for LA than it is in a vacuum because of what they're trying to do. They also draft really well, spent a ton of money in Latin America recently and have more assets on the way to either flip or play.
If you think they improved their chances of winning a WS, I'd be stoked they did it without moving Urias, Alvarez or Bellinger.

Where do you envision Leody Taveras and Anderson Tejeda landing on Texas' Top-10 list? Do either or both make the Top-100?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:37
That list is a ways off but I'm pretty set on Leodys #1, Mendez #2, Tejeda probably somewhere in the top 5. Leodys, Mendez and maybe Ragans or Jurado are top 100 guys.
Ragans' fastball was filth in the fall. You want a fastball/change/command prospect? That's your guy.

2:38
What's up with Troy Stokes not on the Brewers list? Last chat you liked him?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:38
My bad, he should be HMs too. He and Trey York confuse me.

2:39
how does Sixto Sanchez's outlook differ from that of, say, Anderson Espinoza's at this point?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:39
Espinoza's secondaries are insane, reports on Sixto's are more mixed.
Dudley
2:40
How would rate Otani as a major league hitting prospect? Enough upside to justify a DH role, independent of the other thing he does well?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:40
I wouldn't.
Gest
2:41
How did your diamond mind draft turn out?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:42
Meh. It was okay. I made some moves and added a 1 next year, landed Michael Fulmer, Gsellman, Marquez, Tapia, etc. The Pennsylvania Dutch are in a multi-year rebuild and asking fans and ownership to be patient.
Andrew
2:43
Who do you prefer, Lugo or Gsellman? Eno and Dave disagree on this one.
Eric A Longenhagen
2:43
Gsellman
Louisville
2:43
That was quite a bit of praise for Ray in the Brewers write-up. Do you think their initial promotion of him to High-A was too much and does that hurt his future development at all?
Eric A Longenhagen
2:44
No and no. He was fine there, even if it didn't show in the statistical output. Hit the ball hard.
Richard

What are your thoughts on Tommy Edman?
