Better chance at 30/30 this year? Kyle Tucker or Julio Rodriguez?
Kyle Kishimoto
4:18
I'll say Julio but both have a good shot at it

As a braves fan I'm excited for hopefully fully healthy Acuna/Albies.  As a baseball fan, I'm excited for what appear to be a bunch of solid races.  I'm hopeful the Angels will actually be good and fearful of lucy pulling the football.
Leo Morgenstern
4:19
I agree, I think there are going to be more interesting races this year. Some great rivalries in the NL East and West, and I think AL Wild Card is going to be really fun
J

I am excited to be able to go to a weekday baseball game and be home by 10:30
Appa Yip Yip

Every opening day I have flashbacks to 2018 when it was below freezing in Texas and Josh Donaldson couldn't throw across the infield and it felt like the Jays season died right alongside his arm on the very first day. Do not like stop it brain.
Ben Clemens
4:18
Don't worry, it's 70 in St Louis
Vin
4:18
St Louis' organist is in top form on opening day
5 Run Homer
4:19
As a Jays fan, I’m excited for this incredible defensive outfield for the 25 games we’ll get out of them

Oh, and I'm loving San Diego throwing the bird to every other "small market" team
Kyle Kishimoto
4:20
Peter Seidler found out that spending money on giant money printers is actually a smart idea
Davy Andrews
4:20
Good article about that today. I think it was Bill Shaikin in the LA Times.
5 Run Homer
4:20
As a baseball fan, that Padres core four is going to be so, so fun
Leo Morgenstern
4:21
Yeah, I've been trying to think of a more unique answer, but I've got to say I'm most excited to watch the Padres. Imagine if they had all three NL MVP finalists in one roster...
Orioles2024
4:21
I'm excited for a full year of Gunnar, GRod's debut, and to see how our infield shakes out with solid gloves already there and studs at Norfolk.
Birds
4:21
I'm watching baseball zen of a pitcher rosin-ing his hands and it sounds like dinosaurs roaming the earth
Kyle Kishimoto
4:22
The theater at the museum I work at is currently playing a dinosaur movie, maybe the sounds I'm hearing are actually the guests watching opening day!

What's going on with the live scoreboard?  Appears to be frozen from several hours ago.
Davy Andrews
4:22
People are working on it!
Morbo

Excited for my 6 player keeper league this year: named the team "A Farewell to Arms" and have been drafting injured pitchers for the last couple years. We now have Tyler Glasnow, Nester Cortes, Dustin May, and Christian Javier for $1 each for at least 3 year. Plus Tristan McKenzie for $3 for min 3 years as well.
Ben Clemens
4:22
I need a new team name, I've been "Madrigal Realism" for a while but I finally actually became realistic and cut him.
Kyle Kishimoto
4:23
My main fantasy league is a 10 teamer this year so I went full send with all the injury guys, I have degrom rodón Kershaw and Buxton lol
Leo Morgenstern
4:22
As for what I'm least excited about? Blackout restrictions that made me miss Wainwright's national anthem
Davy Andrews
4:22
Would have loved to see Cole/Webb!
Leo Morgenstern
4:23
I can attest it was a fun game! Or maybe I just loved watching my first MLB game in five months
Orioles2024
4:22
Oh, and Adley ascending to the throne of best catcher in the game.
Vin
4:23
I'm excited for the Rockies to win 100 games and sign Charlie Blackmon and several relievers to five year extensions
Ben Clemens
4:23
at least one of those two things might happen
ryan
4:23
I am starting to be suspicious about Madrigal's odds of reaching 3000 hits
Blake Seams
4:24
Adley Rutschman best catcher in the game? This is Martin Maldonado erasure and I won't stand for it
Yeah Well Hiura Towel
4:24
Pirates lineup is actually kinda fun! Oneil/Reynolds/Mccutchen/Santana, Ke'bryan and Sluwinski, Choi will be there at some point
Davy Andrews
4:24
I was very heartened to see Cutch on the spring training EV leaderboard.

I would love if Estuary Ruiz turned out to be gold, and every writer who analyzed that trade had to question things.
Kyle Kishimoto
4:24
He hit a 109 mph homer on Monday, I was not aware he had average or better raw before seeing that
Davy Andrews
4:25
I was psyched about that too. I would absolutely love it if he can really hit.
Ben Clemens
4:24
As the founder of the Ke'Bryan Hayes is great fan club, I'm definitely in on team Pirates
Davy Andrews
4:26
Do we get a patch or anything if we join? I want in.
RH
4:25
I really want the Reds rotation to make them surprisingly competitive
bosoxforlife
4:25
Adley is not only going to be the best catcher in the game, he is about to be seen as the MVP in the game, two-way players exempted.
