Shoutout to ESPN for having the other score in the top right of the screen like they had with MNF last night

For some reason, Sabrowski is always wild as hell when I play him in MLB the Show

Late to the party - thoughts on chili cheese dogs?
AvatarDan Szymborski

Good if not Cincy

No part of me believes Cleveland can score not one but two more runs today. Bring on Cubs v Padres
AvatarDan Szymborski
3:12
I tend to not think of those as traditional hot dog preparations as chili *and* cheese overpowers the dog and maeks it kind of a chili and hot dog dual meal
I think best hot dog toppings for HOT DOGS have to be condiment related
AvatarJon Becker

I'll take onions and mustard over chili and cheese any day
AvatarDan Szymborski
3:13
I'm always afraid to get the chili and cheese in OH because of risk it's cincy
Matt

Proper hot dog accoutrements are chili, mustard and onions.
AvatarDan Szymborski

I think this will get me kicked out of Chicago but I'm pretty meh on a Chicago dog
3:14
I can appreciate the flavors but it's too unwieldy
Less is, in fact, sometimes more

The best part of being able to bring your own food into Wrigley is that I bring my own chili in a small tupperware and assemble my own chili dogs
AvatarDan Szymborski
3:14
I bring food in my laptop bag all the time, they're not really strict with press outside of scanning for metal/weapons and such

What, you don't want a chocolate and nutmeg-based chili?
AvatarDan Szymborski
3:15
I wouldn't mind it so much if it were less chocolate forward and more like pasticcio

Thoughts on keeping Carpenter in vs the lefty there?
AvatarJon Becker
3:15
Fine with it since they have the lead, and if you're in an add-on situation later you'd love to have Carpenter against a righty. Now, we return to your regularly scheduled hot dog programming.

more allspice/clove/cinnamon
and nto served on the saddest gray "hot dog" or spaghetti

The Cubs haven’t won a World Series since the concession stands switched to a ‘build it yourself’ Chicago dog model and they never will.

Tarik Skubal has allowed six baserunners today.  Two of them have been Austin Hedges walks.

They have them at Attman's. Never seen them anywhere else
AvatarDan Szymborski

I never even noticed it there!

Yes, he did walk Austin Hedges, but I haven't seen the slightest dropoff in stuff. May Hinch receive the same treatment from the baseball gods that Cash was slapped with when he pulled Snell, after 73 pitches, in Game 6 of the 2020 WS.
AvatarJon Becker
3:22
eh, pretty big difference to me here, Snell I think faced exactly 18 batters and Skubal got to face 28 with 35 extra pitches
