Is there an active player who "deserves" to win the WS more than Kershaw? By that, I mean someone who people would root for after their favorite team.

I think I've done that article every year, but haven't gotten around to it this season yet.
He has to be up there.

So what do the Nats do if both Rendon and Stras leave?  Spread some money around to get better depth or push a bunch of cash in Cole?

This has to be the first time a wild card team has attempted to end a game with L/L/L pitchers.

Just heard that the Brewers fired Craig Counsell and replaced him with Buck Showalter.  Hader sits back down.
Craig Edwards

So this game is working out pretty much as the Brewers hoped it would. Early lead with Woodruff to Suter to Pomeranz. Haven't had to make too many adjustments to what I'm assuming the plan was. Now time for Hader, who's made 13 appearances of exactly two innings with 11 scoreless frames, one outing where he gave up two runs and one of one run. 49 K, 3 BB in 26 IP.

So the Dodges have announced their game 4 starter, but not their game 1-3 starters.  Gamesmanship?  Does it depend on MIL or WAS winning?
Craig Edwards
10:30
maybe. or they might have bullpens coming up that will help show them something.

Is Matt Carpenter a league-average (or worse) player now, or did he just play at the very bottom levels of his skills in 2019? Nothing stands out as worse, except he made a bit less contact.
