I feel more strongly about no fake fan noise. It's very off-putting to me and legitimately distracting. Maybe it's just the dissonance it causes - like, I *know* there no fans there so why can I hear them??

the thing about the crowd noise, as I understand it, is that it's more for the players than it is for the viewers. keep the in-game chatter from being overheard. But anyway you slice it, it's gonna be weird.

The revisionist history on Friedman is starting to get annoying (the waiting for Betts narrative). Didn't the Dodgers offer Harper a very high AAV deal on I think a 5 year deal?  They were also in on several other big name FA's.
