Promoting Harris (ATL) was a bit of a surprise.  How do you see Harris's promotion impacting William Contreras playtime and what kind of productivity and playtime do you see for both Contreras and Harris?
Brad Johnson
12:53
I covered Harris a bit - the double-jump is a tall ask that few prospects successfully answer.
I like him long term, just not as much in 2022.
12:54
Contreras is crazy hot. He's one of those low-angle, high-exit velocity hitters who's happened to catch some elevated pitches.
12:55
Scouts and pitchers know how to work these guys, and the reports should be caught up by now. So I expect Contreras to revert to a decent average. He'll punish elevated mistakes but should settle around a 90-115 wRC+. I'd play him every day over TdA, but that's not how the Braves see it.

Brad, my Harris question is because of a few players going on the IL, my bench options are Kyle Farmer (hot lately, but...), Jose Iglesias, Lorenzo Cain, and Lane Thomas. Preference to start this week among those options?
Brad Johnson
12:57
Farmer if you're thinking about well-rounded upside. Iglesias is a nice high-floor batting average patch.
Rowdy rowdy
12:57
Is Rowdy Tellez for real? Can he keep this us?
Brad Johnson
12:58
Rowdy 3 is real.
He's loosely similar to a left-handed C.J. Cron. Plus hitter who has slumps and surges.
The Jays never could figure out how to use him.

I've been hurt by a bunch of underperforming middle infielders. Who's the real keeper in the crowd of Andy Ibàñez, Nicky Lopez, and Luis Rengifo?
Brad Johnson

Wrapping up, a couple more.
I've been putting this one off because... yuck.
1:00
Lopez has absolutely nothing to offer outside of stolen bases, average, and maybe runs. I hate taking zeroes in HR and RBI.
1:01
He's hitting .271/.327/.313 in his last 52 PA which is on par with expectations. 3 SBs.
So, good enough for a very limited fantasy role.
1:02
Ibanez has some interesting contact characteristics, but they were a lot better last season. I think he's the best bet of the three to have a well-rounded, positive stat line. It's a bad bet though!
I don't trust Rengifo to keep playing regularly. He's a solid utility dude who lacks fantasy traits.

In an H2H stats lead. Ended up being enticed and traded away Tatis and Gausman for Shohei Ohtani and Buxton and I think I fleeced. Problem is, I have a really bad rotation. Any suggestions on what I should look for in streaming pitchers (outside Shohei of course)

This seems like a lovely topic for today's fantasy article.
1:04
That'll be in your inbox tonight or tomorrow.
Last question in the queue. Then we can all break for 'cue.
Who goes?
1:04
16 team dynasty points league. If you had drop one of these three who would it be? Canha A Frazier or Morel?
Brad Johnson
1:04
I'd need to know more about the points to be sure.
1:05
In theory, the correct answer is Morel, but it would sure hurt if he kept thriving. You probably won't miss Frazier too much in the future. He'll have times when he hits .350 for 150 PA and the rest of the time he's nobody.
1:07
Canha is sneaky good in OBP and points formats tend to skew in that direction. Good time to "sell high" on him, insofar as that's possible. His contact quality is at a career-worst.
Thanks for playing folks!
