I'm in a dynasty keeper league. Should I do this offseason trade to free up money for the auction draft? George Kirby $4 and KeBryan Hayes $15 for AJ Puk $4

Nonono.

If you want money, just cut Hayes for the $15 and keep Kirby. Puk's banged up and the Marlins are trying to make him a starter again. He's not an acquisition target.
And fwiw, I'd hold Hayes in anything deeper than 12-team team.

What is your philosophy for mono league auctions? Stars and scrubs or space out your $$$$
Brad Johnson

I hate mono leagues. I skew a little stars and scrubs. Not all the way.

With pitchers dropping like flies, does it seem comical to you too that deGrom is thought of as such an outlier injury risk, he’s been healthy his whole career up until the last 2 years and his injuries have been unrelated (granted, elbow and shoulder) with no reoccurrence.
Brad Johnson

Yes. Sure, he has more injury risk than, say, Sandy Alcantara. But it's not a big gap. Alcantara is one of the least likely aces to sustain a major injury - about 25%. deGrom is one of the most likely at around 40%.
Mayer or Luciano

Which one

Mayer for now
I could see that flipping in-season.

I don’t buy the love for him. Similar to Bailey Falter, he had a very easy schedule once he moved to the Cards. He faced LAD, ATL & MIL and went a combined 20 innings & 14 ERs. Rest of his games came against CHC, CIN, WAS and PIT

Yea, he's overpriced this year. I like the guy, but I'll be looking to buy low later on.

On that note, let's call it a day. Thanks for playing everyone!
