Is Peraza worth a hold?  Not sure where he’ll fit this year.
Brad Johnson

Depends on format. In a deeper league, I'd trust him to find a role eventually. In a shallower setting, keep that roster spot active.

Is that Mitch or Brad Keller?!
Brad Johnson
1:46
I assumed Mitch. Brad's 2022 season was the inverse - fast start, abysmal finish.

Hi Brad, what would you say is the number one thing that holds back fantasy managers from moving into the upper echelons?
Brad Johnson
1:48
This is a doozy. Ask me this 10 weeks in a row and you might get 10 different answers. Ultimately, it's highly individual.
1:49
The true upper echelons have turned the game into a job. So, the easy answer is you put in 70 hours a week, you'll probably be a good player.
1:50
If you're only interested in being a good casual player, the number one mistake is following/soliciting advice from analysts who play differently from you (sorry folks!!!)

Yikes. That’s 10 hours a day. :-)
Brad Johnson

Yes, yes it is. This is one of the reasons I steer casual players away from NFBC.
*I* don't put in enough time to play NFBC.

Is Tucker Davidson worth a flyer at this point for a future rotation spot for the Angels?
Brad Johnson

Depends on league depth, but probably not. Keep an eye on his velo readings. He should be up around 93. Was sitting 91 in his first outing.
Even at full strength, probably a 4.50 ERA guy
Short starts too, I assume

Well, that's the queue! As always, thanks for playing. I'll be out for our next chat. Nick Gaus of FanGraphs will step in.
