Ignoring team needs, is Bautista for McClain fair?  Which side would you want?
Brad Johnson
1:52
In redraft, in a vacuum, I'd want Bautista.
1:54
I feel like McLain has been playing over his head for a while now. Keep waiting for the other shoe to drop. Like, he's a good player, but he's hitting .300 and profiles as more of a .240 AVG guy.
1:55
He could also regress positively. He's a plus discipline and contact guy, but he has 7.2% BB and 27.2% K rates. Those shift more to the 12% BB and 22% K I expect, it mostly makes up for any losses in AVG.

Deep keeper league (16teams). Kiriloff, or Yanier Diaz ROS?
Brad Johnson
1:55
Diaz
1:56
I'm so over Kirilloff's wrist.

Seems like Brady House is falling down a lot of prospect lists. Is he still on your radar?
Brad Johnson
1:57
Yea, for sure.
1:58
I think the issue is mostly skepticism in the Nationals player dev. I was talking to a contact about Yohandy Morales today, and to paraphrase his reaction: "too bad the Nats got him, he needs a little work and won't get it there."
1:59
Gonna start wrapping it up. Still have a sore back (back spasms held me out last week).
Elly
2:00
In a dynasty format, is there anyone you would trade him for, short of Acuna?
Brad Johnson
2:00
1-for-1, I'd have to consider Tatis, Carroll, Acuna, Rodriguez. Soto in OBP.
2:01
But you don't trade a guy like Elly 1-for-1.
Oh, would have to think about Ohtani too. Though I think the injury risk is way too huge.
2:02
An Elly deal happens when a guy walks up with like Bichette, Arenado, and Goldy and says "here, go win a league and also have a nice long-term asset."

Currently leading the league by a wide margin in Save Holds category. I have Bautista, Clase, Bednar, Romano, Munoz.
Currently leading in Saves Hold Catigoy by a large margin. Who should I put up on the block ?
Brad Johnson
2:03
Put them all up and see who offers something that actually helps you.
Would you rather
2:03
have Andrew Vaughn or Alec Bohm
Brad Johnson
2:03
Vaughn
2:04
Bohm just feels maxed out. I think there's more in Vaughn, tho the Sox are unlikely to find it.
You know how I was just saying the Nats have questionable player dev. It's orders of magnitude better than the White Sox.
The quote on them is "they don't dev."
2:05
The guys who make it out of their system are the ones who don't need dev.

Do you have a guy in your leagues that keeps offering 3 bench players that he recently picked up for a star or two from your team?    I have this every year.
Brad Johnson
2:05
Of course, I've been known to do this as well.
2:06
I got thrown out of a league over the winter actually, the straw that broke the camels back was me picking up Elvis Andrus then immediately offering him for Matt Vierling because I wanted to stream one particular start of Vierling's then cut him. Folks... overreacted. Also, Andrus turned out to be good.

I try to fleece fellow fantasy GM's every year. It rarely works, but it never hurts to try.
Brad Johnson
2:07
Tell that to all my leaguemates I no longer talk to or query. It goes both ways, though they always act like they never make terrible offers.
CES
2:07
More likely to get called up or traded?
Brad Johnson
2:08
I doubt he gets traded this year. It's possible, I guess. There just isn't much out there. I think the Reds stand pat. Maybe add like a David Robertson or Scott Barlow - which wouldn't cost CES.
Barbarino
2:08
I suspect they really kicked you out because they were tired of losing to you.
Brad Johnson
2:09
I was in the league two years. I cashed both years but didn't win.
My roster was sooooo loaded though. Elly, Chourio, like 20 other top 50 prospects. I'm a bit mad.
Still
2:10
Had the PV and the FV all in one place.

At least you're not holding a grudge.
Brad Johnson
2:11
I would if I could. I didn't know anyone in the league except James Anderson and my comanager (Matt Eddy). James wasn't involved in us getting voted out.
