Astros are like the Rangers, just a couple danger-dudes
Tyler Soderstrom or Kyle Manzardo
2:07
I will need !B help in a dynasty league.   Am thinking of stashing a prospect.   Do you think Tyler or Kyle will have value next year.   Who will be the better stash?
Brad Johnson
2:07
I like Manzardo more than Soderstrom
2:08
I see Soderstrom as high risk/volatile.
Manzardo is high floor and medium-high ceiling
But he's probably more of a core performer than a star.
2:09
Time to wrap it up. Got holiday activities to do after completing another article.
Glasnow
2:09
Has Glasnow reached his ceiling?  Or is there another level?
Brad Johnson

I'm not sure what more you can want? Longer outings? He'll probably average 6+ IP next year.
Dynasty Manager
2:10
I run a couple dynasty leagues and will have a couple openings.  Have tapped all of my friends to fill spots.  I think you mentioned that there are a few places where people can find a league to join.  Can you list them again?
Brad Johnson
2:10
FanGraphs runs a list via Mike Podhorzer.
You can also reach out to the PitcherList community on Discord.
ROS

Volpe or JP Crawford?
Brad Johnson
2:11
What are you looking to do. Crawford's a lovely high floor type. Probably better for run production. Obviously better for AVG/OBP. Volpe is likely to out-homer/steal him by a large margin.
Which, in the context of a month, we're talking like +2.5 HR and +4 SB for Volpe.
Woodberry

So the Dodgers can recall Pepiot now right? What do you expect out of him ROS? He looked much better than last year
Brad Johnson
2:13
Hard to form an expectation for someone with 36 innings this year. I think we're looking at 3 IP opener/follower-style outings. Ideally (for our purposes), he follows so he can get the Ws.

How do you navigate so many teams going with...let's say non-traditional...starting pitching?
Brad Johnson
2:14
By the hair of my chinny-chin-chin

Seriously though, this is open-field warfare. Take it one swordstroke at a time and hope it works out. Aggression usually wins out over passivity.
Your best laid plans won't survive long.
2:16
If you have the time, reassess your needs and strategy every day.

Mauricio likely to be helpful ROS?
Brad Johnson
2:17
Likely? I wouldn't quite say likely. He's a higher percentage pass than the typical Hail Mary.
You roster him because you need to bottle that lightning or prevent a rival from getting it.

No take on the Baddoo v. Laureano question?
2:18
IN an AL-only, 5x5 league, considering everything else equal, would you consider Ramon Laureano or Akin Baddoo a better option, ROS?  Thank for doing this Brad, and I hope you are enjoying the Labor Day weekend.
Brad Johnson
2:18
I think I like Baddoo more. Assuming the SBs matter to you.
2:19
And on that note, I'm going to meander away to write about Jacksons. Happy Hollidays.
