Velazquez is a tough eval for me. Love the contact quality. Hate the whiff rate. There could be something special in there with the right adjustments. Sort of like what we've been seeing with Jake Burger (but also vastly different).
Overall, if this is a redraft, I see no reason not to pursue other categories with his roster spot. I might hesitate in a dynasty setting.

He has interesting traits, but he's not going to magically solve his poor discipline and whiff issues. He can hit the piss out of the ball though. If I was trying to develop him, I'd have him focusing on barreling the ball more.

I see him as a deep dynasty hold and a shallow keeper cut.

Are any of these rookies actually going to be starters next year? Lenyn Sosa, Osleivis Basabe, Davis Schneider, Everson Pereira, Brayan Rocchio, Will Brennan. Do any of them have a chance to be All Stars in 2024 or future years?

Rocchio's the one who looked like a regular as a prospect

Pereira is the one I could see being highly impactful. Especially if the Yankees can rebuild their lineup to have fewer holes.
