He's an incomplete player doing well at a level where he HAS to do well. He would be playing Indy ball otherwise. Sometimes, incomplete players complete themselves. Or the way they're incomplete doesn't matter and they go on to have nice careers.
Gauthier is a fun/fine guy to track and root for. But I think I've adequately explained why he's unranked or late-ranked as a prospect.

Would you grab Canha or A Gimenez for HS Kim, who is dealing with an abdominal issue? OBP league final week. I have Mookie/Altuve/Crawford/Witt for flexibility at 2B/SS but worried about the number of mouths to feed in MIL for Canha to play all week. Thanks!

I'm not sure. My instinct is to go shorter, but I'd have to be in your league to have a firm grasp.

The trouble with young pitchers is they so often miss considerable time. Bibee also looks more like a solid 3.50-4.00 ERA guy than a future ace.
That's a nice guy to have around, but you can commit on a shorter basis and find the next version.

Love the quality of contact. Love the home venue. Hate the org. But he should play enough to have some impact despite his passive instincts.
