I'm in a league that has defensive points for the first time. It's overwhelming. Should I just ignore the boosts for assists and double plays turned and caught stealing or is this likely to cause me to lose over the course of a season? Head to head points on a weekly basis.

In general, I wouldn't let it affect any of your decisions right now but spend the early season paying attention to just how much it's boosting player values and then adjust your strategy accordingly
