What do you think the Tigers will be doing this July as the Trade deadline approaches, and how might that affect an AL-only 5x5 league?

The teardown might actually really affect AL-only teams given the quality of the players...IE in real baseball terms, they are mostly just kind of useful parts but not necessarily as starters. But they're good enough that they'll usually be rostered in AL only

So, trades to the NL obviously take them off the board but so do trades to a platoon role on an AL team

Depends on whether or not Tommy has told them if Tommy wants to move or stay
one does not simply assume the whims of Tommy Pham or one might just assume a slap to the face

I'm pretty excited - as long as he plays every day (which he will, surely?), you could see a dozen HR in 250ish ABs?

He has legit 70-grade power and made monster strides in his discipline at Triple-A - K% down from 33% to 18%, SwStr% down from 14% to 10%

Not that it means he won't still be a 25%+ guy in the bigs but it's way more manageable if he's not a 30%+ guy

I don't think they've given up but he probably now part of the pool they'd be willing to trade in the right deal
Not that they probably will, given his current stock. But I feel like they still feel prospect-burned from the continuing Tork spiral

Nick, I just picked up Trevor Rogers of the Fish, who has really turned his season around. Anything you see there as far as reasons for the performance spike. I don't think his pre-surgical velo is coming back, nor are the strikeouts. Maybe he learned how to pitch with what he's got left? Also, is Ben Brown a keeper?

Changeup shape has gotten back closer to the elite horizontal break it had when he was running the best. Still not where it was but way better than in the bad years.
