Part 2 - is there an argument to be made that the Sox rotation of Crochet, Fedde, Thorpe, Nastrini, maybe Kopech (?) could be a strong rotation, obviuosly trade all short term assets like Pham, dejong, Jimenez, Wilson and brebbia, spend some money on some offense and bullpen and go for it next year?

Why aren't the Mariners giving Samad Taylor a chance? He has 29 SB's in AAA with a .251 BA. He'd be a better lead-off batter than JP Crawford (.215 BA)

Well-rounded profile gives him some fantasy chops but he really lacks in power compared to most the other guys you'll typically find at first base and I think that's why he doesn't get the prospect love

Yes, he's always trying to trick you but also yes, he's pretty trustworthy for now as long as you don't just assume more than 5ish IP

Keeper league -- Yamamoto on a 5 year deal at $29 (salary increases $4 each year) and Spencer Steer ($15, expiring) plus salary filler for Luis Castillo ($28, expiring, Freddie Freeman $43, protectable for one more year at $47). Deal comes out even money wise. Any player can be cut after the season with no penalty.  Which side would you rather be on?
