How high would you take Todd Gurley in the draft without it being too much of a risk?
Mike Tagliere
1:40
He'll be worth the risk in the second-round, honestly. If you can get him in the third, it'll be stealing.

Tags, both you and Yates suggested on the latest podcast that Philly would be a great landing spot for one of the top WR prospects from a fantasy perspective. Problem is, Philly hasn't really produced a fantasy stud outside of Zach Ertz for a while now. Will there be enough targets for any young WR to make an immediate impact there?
Mike Tagliere
1:41
It's because none of them have been healthy. Seriously, when on the field, they produce. Alshon is a WR2 when on the field. Jackson dominated his first game with the team. Wentz has been on and off the field, etc. I like Justin Jefferson there. Rumors are that if they land a WR they want, Jeffery could be a cap casualty (that they can eat over 2 years with the new CBA).

Jordan Howard or ronald jones 2? Dynasty. And Is either one of them + pascal worth a rookie 1.06 pick?
Mike Tagliere
1:42
I'd rather have the 1.06 rookie pick.

I'm in a small 8 man redraft league and was hoping to sit on TE and load up in other positions.  Do you think there are 8 viable set and forget options this year like last year ?
Mike Tagliere
1:43
Oh yeah, there are more than eight who are able. In an 8-team league, though, aim for studs no matter the position.

Can hardman have a role this year? Is watkins leaving?
cool 2
Mike Tagliere
1:44
It seemed likely that Watkins would be gone, which would open massive opportunity for Hardman, who was historically efficient last year. If Watkins goes and they don't replace him with anyone of significance, Hardman would be in the WR3 conversation.

Hi Mike,   Wanted to get your thoughts about re-draft this year.  Seems like the bottom half of the first round has no value.  Would you suggest going WR-WR if you're drafting towards the bottom half (assuming 6-7 Rbs go off the board first)?
Mike Tagliere
1:45
You can't leave the first two rounds without a running back, IMO.

Biggest breakout star at the WR position this year (i.e. most improved from last year)?
Mike Tagliere
1:47
I can see it being Marquise Brown. He was playing through foot/ankle injuries, which will really hamper production, especially when you're a rookie.

Hey Mike, in dynasty half ppr would you rather have 1.1 (rookie) and Diggs or Sanders and the 1.7 and 1.8?
Mike Tagliere
1:47
Give me the 1.01 and Diggs.
Joe
1:48
What RB targeting this year?
Mike Tagliere
1:48
It really depends on the round. I'm a value drafter, not going to completely reach for a player who can be had rounds later.

Hey Mike what are thoughts on Dobbins from OSU? I think he’s more explosive than Zeke was at OSU. Assuming that he goes to team with good framework, do you project him to put up Zeke like numbers?
Mike Tagliere
1:49
I believe he's best-suited for a timeshare role. If the Saints move on from Kamara after this year, he would be a good fit in that 12-15 touch role. He's my RB5 in this class.

Hey, Mike!  2 questions... 1) Should I keep Mixon or Drake in my PPR league 2) I own the first two picks in that same league and will have to choose 2 players from a pool that will likely consist of Zeke, Chubb, Mahomes, and Godwin.  Which 2 should I take?
Mike Tagliere
1:50
Whew, that's tough. I'd likely lean Mixon, but it's close. I'd take Zeke and Godwin. Knowing that Hunt is coming back to CLE, it limits Chubb's upside.

Mike, I'm doing a rebuild of my team. I have the 1.1, 1.2, 1.6, and 1.8. Any thoughts of how breakdown the rebuild with the first two picks. I'm wanting to go Swift, Lamb but the possibility of getting a Lamb, Juedy or Swift, Taylor back to back in the future is slim. How would you approach the first two picks and how would your strategy impact for the 1.6 and 1.8.
Mike Tagliere
1:51
Wait until we find out landing spot, though I'll tell you that Jerry Jeudy should be one of them. He's going to be a superstar. It's hard to find a landing spot that will hurt him, as he'll walk into a big role no matter what. The RBs could fall into bad situations.

Hey Mike, I am in a 10 team, 2QB Dynasty league (half PPR). I have a fairly strong roster, but through some trades last year, I managed to get the 1.01 for this years rookie draft.
Mike Tagliere
1:52
Nice! Hard not to take Joe Burrow there.

What 4 would you keep in a 14 team, 2QB 0.5ppr? Zeke, David Johnson, Kenyan Drake, DJ Moore, Hunter Henry, Darren Waller
Mike Tagliere
1:53
Zeke, Drake, Moore, and Waller.

1/2 ppl Keeper league, must keep two, can’t be same position.  Kyler in rd17 , Godwin rd5, Drake rd7, or Singletary rd11.
Mike Tagliere
1:54
Godwin and Drake.

Do you think where a player is at in his career (as far as working for a big contract or just got paid big time) matters for fantasy football. I use this as a decision breaker when I'm struggling between 2 players. Thanks Mike!

Mike Tagliere
1:54
Not necessarily, but WHERE he signed is what matters most. If he's switching teams, there are a lot of variables that can impact production.

Working on a best ball draft right now.  Which RB do you like the best in a PPR league and why?  David Johnson, James Conner, Damien Williams
Mike Tagliere
1:56
Ugh, this is a question that's best suited for after the draft. But if forced right now, I'd say Conner because the offense will become competent again with Ben under center.

I have pick 1.01 in a dynasty rookie draft and need help at WR and TE. Who are some trade targets that you'd recommend going after? And would you take Jeudy 1.01?
Mike Tagliere
1:56
Jeudy is my 1.01 if you need a WR, easy.
@P2WFantasy
1:57
Sternberger - Knox - Ian Thomas - Uzomah. Who will breakout in 2020 if any
Mike Tagliere
1:57
Jace is an interesting one because if the Packers don't sign/draft another TE, he's starting. Thomas would be my pick, though.

Do you have any hope for Drew Lock next season? Superflex league.
Mike Tagliere
1:58
Sure, he should be a back-end QB2. Not great on a defense-first team, but he should be competent.
