Good afternoon, everyone! Thanks for stopping by. I'll be here for the next hour to answer some fantasy baseball questions. And if I don't get to your question here or you just want to talk baseball, feel free to reach out on Twitter @mike Maher -- https://twitter.com/mikeMaher
We already have a few questions in the queue, so let's get started!

Is Ryan Mountcastle droppable?
Mike Maher
1:01
As President of the Ryan Mountcastle fan club, I can not advise you to drop him. But I get the frustration. He is striking out way too much and is off to a slow start. But I believe in the bat. Give him some time to work things out. Bench him if you must, especially this week (they only play 5 games), but don't drop just yet.

Please rank these upside RPs for ROS value (saves+holds, ratios, etc.): Bukauskas, Doval, Whitlock. Thanks!

Will Myles Straw hit? Hitting 8 hole in the Astros lineup. Is it worth waiting for the potential stolen bases?
Mike Maher
1:03
Myles Straw is who we thought he was. He's a light bat who is going to steal some bases. But his value is really tied to those steals. You can't expect much else from him. If he starts hitting and moves up the lineup every now and then, that's a great bonus. But he's most likely going to be a bottom-of-the-order guy.

What are your projections for Trey Mancini in 2021?
Mike Maher
1:05
Trey Mancini is off to a slow start, which is understandable after not playing for an entire year. But he does already have three home runs. I don't think he is going to hit .291 like he did in 2019, but .250-.260 with 25 home runs and 150 combined runs/RBI seems reasonable

Do you think Alex Kiriloff has a chance to be brought up this week? Now that his service time has been manipulated is there a reason why the Twins would still continue to run Jake Cave out there? Thanks
Mike Maher
1:06
Brendan Tuma and I talked about this a little bit last night on Clubhouse. I think you are going to start to see a bunch of these prospects called up in the coming weeks. Teams might wait a week or two to make it seem more legit and avoid a grievance, but I think you will see Kiriloff and others sooner rather than later.

Drop Dylan Moore for Ty France  / Drop Ryan Mountcastle for Colin Moran
Mike Maher

Yes on Moore/France. No on Mounty/Moran

Bullpen Bullsh*@t!!! What are your thoughts on the Seattle and Arizona Closer situations. Thanks for the fantasy baseball therapy!
Mike Maher
1:08
Haha. In Seattle, it seems like Graveman will be the guy, at least for now. In Arizona, who knows. I think they WANT Bukauskas to be the guy at some point. Soria sounds like he is coming back soon. Crichton got the save last night. I don't have much interest in that situation.

Would you drop Bassitt for Fulmer, Junis, Duffy or Canning?
Mike Maher
1:11
I've never been a huge Bassitt guy, but he has put together a few good seasons now. Not dropping him for Fulmer. I don't necessarily buy Junis's early success (he's really just throwing fastball/cutter right now). No on Canning, though I like Canning long term. Duffy I would consider.
1:12
If you move on from Bassitt now, you should probably consider this a streaming spot on your roster. You might have to move on from Duffy in a few weeks. So, format matters there.

Could you please rank the order of these relievers in a SV+H league? The other Pitcher categories are W’s, K’S, ERA, WHIP. Who’s the most droppable? E.Clase, D.Williams, H.Neris, D.Pomeranz, G.Gallegos. Would you rather have N.Wittgren, A.Bummer, T.Antone, D.Price, L.Sims, R.Dolis, T.Rogers, B.Graterol, T.May than any of the 5 RP currently on my roster?
Mike Maher
1:13
Phew, there is a lot to take in there. SV+H gives you a lot of options, which I like. For your situation, you have good names. I don't think you need to make a move just to make one. If

what to do with Vaughn....hold or drop for Aquilar or Moran?
Mike Maher
1:15
Ugh, I don't have any Vaughn shares this year, but this situation is so frustrating to watch. LaRussa SAYS they are going to play him more, but who knows. He wasn't in the lineup again today. I think I'm ready to move on and free up that roster spot in redraft leagues.

Any prospects or players coming off the DL we should add to our rosters?  Thanks!
Mike Maher
1:16
Talked about this a little bit above, but the prospects are probably coming soon. Kelenic, Kirilloff, Franco are all probably coming sooner rather than later. For a deeper option, Willie Calhoun just came off the IL.

My pithers in a 10 team roto league are: Glasnow, Berrios, Bundy, Pineda, Kluber, Minor, Ray, Trivino, and T. Rogers.  Should I stay with that or give up on Kluber or one of the other starters and replace with a reliever with good stats?
Mike Maher
1:18
If you are falling behind in saves, I think you can move on from someone like Kluber for a high-end reliever. But if you're doing fine on saves, I think you can wait and play matchups for the next few weeks. It feels early to give up on Kluber, especially after his long layoff.

Is Clint Frazier worth hanging on to at this point? Yankees should turn it around but owner in my league recently dropped Pham. I believe I’d rather have Pham than Frazier for sure.
Mike Maher
1:19
I would rather have Pham, with the main reason being I don't trust the Yankees to actually play Frazier as much as they should.

Would you drop Swanson for Wendle!

Nah.

I took over a rebuilding dynasty 12 teamer. I got an offer for Mookie ($59/ 3 keeper yrs left with annual $5 increase to keep) they offered Mackenzie Gore + AJ Pollack & a swap of minor league draft picks Monday (his 4th for my 13th). I have Torkelson already and will take Austin Martin with #1 pick. He wouldn’t throw in Wander. Do you pull the trigger? Any other first year players worth #4 ?
Mike Maher
1:21
$59 seems steep (depending on your budget), but that doesn't feel like enough to move on from Mookie

What happened to Gio today?  Should we as managers be concerned ?
Mike Maher
1:23
Not unless there is some kind of injury. I honestly think he just ran into a hot lineup and it was a weird start time (11am). Pitchers aren't used to changing up their routines like that.
That being said, his breaking balls were NOT working today. I'd check in on his status over the next few days, but this feels like just a bad start that he'll bounce back from

I have albies, lowrey, and jazz. I want to trade one..
Mike Maher

I just added Lowrie in a couple of leagues, but he would be the one to trade out of these three

Thoughts on when Wander Franco and Jarred Kleninc get the call? Sooner or later?
